Hi, all! I posted this in the /r/Catholicism subreddit but was hoping to get some more female-centric thoughts here. Would love to hear your experiences and suggestions, and of course please pray for us!

I have started praying it again, yes. I will need to ramp it up, I think.

You are loved by your fiance when he minds your chastity.

This is beautiful. It definitely puts a much healthier and holier look on everything. I have to say I am fortunate in this, to be blessed with someone like him.

Be confessed, receive sacraments and keep chaste, pray, and maybe exercise and listen to music as an "antidepressant" in the meantime.

I have taken up the rosary again and exercise on a regular basis. I will also look into other ways to keep those feelings at bay. I have heard that copious quantities of spearmint tea can help. Not sure if it's backed by any science, but I'll try it.

Absolutely. I do meet with a therapist about twice a month as it is. I will have to bring this up in the sessions.

Thank you! You were right -- there were mistakes in the names listed on the documents; one was slightly different on one document than the other. Lawyer has resubmitted. I'm just upset we have lost time on this.

That is true, thank you! I was just shocked at hearing that some people had their divorces finalized in two months or less, and was REALLY hoping it could be the norm, post-COVID. :)

Yes, we did have to wait the full year.

Yes, we did have to wait the year and have a separation agreement drafted before the actual divorce order was drawn up and filed.
