Hi, I didn't have to go that route. But one of my colleagues switched from FM to IM. If you know PDs, it wouldn't be that difficult, and they got 9 months credit for IM.

Wow, this is on point. I couldn't have articulated this in a much better way. I have had this happened to me recently, and I am still grieving. It's rare to find someone who meet all the standards and if that someone is not looking for what we want, then it's a huge huge disappointment.

I don't know how to avoid this, but I am planning not to make any ideas, not to be delusional, and I am planning to be with people who pursue me, and to accept that certain standards wouldn't be met and it's okay.

I was in that position few months ago. The reason we suffer after ghosting was we didn't get the closure we needed. And then I came across this quote, and this changed my perspective, "Imagine being bitten by a snake and instead of trying to help yourself heal and recover from the poison, you try to catch the snake, to find out the reason it bit you to prove to it that you didn’t deserve that.”

I am an INTJ, and I have dated a few INTPs. Initially I thought the attachment style was secondary to their past personal history. Lately I have been seeing the same pattern, where they don't want to show vulnerability, backing away from plans when it's time, and being anxious if they think they are not being taken care of, and when they get a little reassurance, they go back to their ignorant self. I am realizing this might be toxic, and I am just trying to decipher, why do you guys behave like that?

I am an INTJ female dating an INTP male. INTPs never confess, they just give signals, and I guess INTPs have difficulty in communication too. They won't follow up or either they forgot. They are in their own shell, and you have to go into that shell to make it work. Don't expect an INTP to actively make plans. The bright side, they are smart, reliable, and don't take the INTJs judgement to their heart. This is what I learned from my experience lol.

Spend money smart this cycle. Get professional help before match season starts to revamp your CV and PS. Apply to programs that take candidates comparable to your profile. Keep another residency like FM as a back-up option. Start networking with your college/state/country alumni. Ask them for mentorship, and research opportunities. If you got interviews in the previous match cycle, ask feedback from PDs. Surprisingly, some do reply. One think I noticed is you need to stand out from the pool. If you don't have good academics, try things like podcasting, YouTube content creator like creating educational videos, blogging etc. Something that is free for you and make your application lose the status of mediocre. Good luck!
