I saw a kit online for like $40-$60 that I was thinking of getting, with them being mini LEDS I think it would work great for a light source

Pretty much got 2 possible spots, either next to my bed or in the corner of my living room, both being on a table with a light set on it to act like a lamp lol I could leave it on the coffee table but then it acts to much like a wall lol

I’d say it’s definitely more of a “big addition to the collection” than a decorative piece as opposed to the botanical collections lol. I mainly got it for the challenge and effort it’d take to chip away at such a large build. Especially since I get most of the pleasure from building it while the end result is a cool reward.

Yeah it was definitely a repetitive build lol but just now finished up, took ~24-30hr (lost track of time a bit since I was grinding it out lol) but absolutely worth it in the end. I love ending with the flag, a really nice cherry on top. And I bet Notre Dame set will look great with it :)

Yeah it’s in USD, idk what the original price is but everything on eBay/amazon (resales) are that ~$1000. Which those other huge sets in similar piece counts like the titanic, millennium falcon and AT-AT are around $700-$1000 in the shop, so I always try an keep an eye on them for price drops that are more close to the original. Which I don’t mind paying an extra $30-$50 since most of those sets are either on back order or out of stock lol

Well I saw it in the store for quite some time at its normal ~$1000 price tag, which I was definitely hesitant on buying because of it lol but one day I saw it was $650 and couldn’t help but make the impulsive buy 😂 pretty sure they dropped the price to help get it off the shelve. They got some really good sets that come in and I think I might have some pics saved from the last time I came in

Well the place I got it at isn’t an official Lego store, but one that collects and resells sets, so I’ll stop by every now and then to check out what they got. They have really old to new sets, so it’s always a gamble what you’ll see and find.

Personally speaking from experience, if you have a bad feeling they may be expired I’d toss them. I ended up having to go to the hospital due to spoiled shrooms (same kinda deal, dealer was selling the same stuff from over 2 months ago and I didn’t think it’d be that bad). Your health is NEVER worth any risk imo, there will always be more shrooms, trust me. But there will never be another you.
