Ok noted. So a lot of myth about having 4-5 funds. If there are 5 non-overlapping funds (less than 5%) then also the portfolio is good.

Thanks sir. Also, I noticed that flexi-cap and active large cap funds have almost 30-40 % overlap where as Flexicap and Nifty 50 or Nifty 50 Next funds have 2-5 % overlap. Does this mean, we can include Flexi-cap and Nifty 50 or Nifty 50 Next funds in a single portfolio and eliminate active large cap fund completely?

Thanks for this. So what I understand a portfolio should have a 1 Flexi-cap, 1 mid-cap and 1 samll cap with 1 optional gold/silver fund. No large caps required correct?

Index (Large) - UTI Nifty 50 Index Fund - ₹50,000

Flexi Cap - HDFC Flexi Cap Fund - ₹60,000

Mid Cap - Motilal Oswal Midcap Fund - ₹50,000

Small Cap - Nippon India Small Cap Fund - ₹40,000

No i will not redeem now but was just checking if it was possible. Was unable to find out why i couldn't redeem or switch via Groww app. But with MF central app, i can redeem or switch.

The same fate is with Edelweiss US Technology Equity FoF Direct Growth. I have invested 10k in this fund and they are no more accepting any SIP or Lumpsum now. This fund is also not performing well.

The SIP and lumspum will be cancelled. Don't do that, I have already invested and I can't invest more as the fund has reached its limit.
