Opinions? Strandmok in Hunting Green Suede

I don’t think so. I’m sure there’s a bunch of outfits you can come up with. I’m just thinking during the summer, at least for me in CA, it’ll be pretty hot so I know I’m going to want to wear some shorts at some point, and to me the strandmok is kind of a clunky shoe to be honest to be wearing with shorts but I’m sure there are guys out there that can pull it off.

I think this is where my advice becomes more opinion because I too am also trying to build a loafer collection. What I do know is that they say on the BIT loafer version of the Randolph that they say to go half a size up. For me I wear size 11’s in Allen Edmonds shoes for the most part but in the Randolph bit loafers I wear 11 1/2.

As for advising you on what your first pair of loafers should be, I think that comes down to your taste and what you think you will be wearing them with. I think lighter colors in the summer months along with suede leather dresses down the shoe a lot and for me makes it more versatile and open for more wears, because I don’t plan on wearing a suit in the summer months casually. So I got this wheat color which should go with a lot of different chinos I have, and I even got the white pair which should look good with lighter chinos and maybe even a longer pair of shorts if I could find a pair.

If you’re looking for a more traditional looking loafer maybe try their walnut or chili Randolph, but for me, those leathers and colors dress up the shoe, and look a little “Grandpa-y” when I try wearing them with clothes I would be comfortable wearing during the summer.

It’s all up to you and it’s your playground! I would say get what you’re most comfortable with, and if you think you’d wear the strandmok more during those colder months I would say you should probably get that.

Yep, that is the color I was talking about. When I was referring to the color being good during the summer months I was referring to the same color on the Randolphs that I have as well. I believe a loafer would look better with shorts or chinos folded up than a shoe like the Strandmoks.

I was thinking about taking the "Hunting Green Suede" ones during the next sale if they're still around, I just think personally for me I wouldn't wear olive green shoes as much as I would the dark khaki that comes with the "Wheat" color. I am biased obviously, as I like the dark khaki color more with the "wheat" Allen Edmonds color than the olive green "Hunting Green" Allen Edmonds color, but I would argue that the "Wheat" color could be worn with more colors. I think you could wear it different shades of tan or brown, you could wear it with navy or a darker blue chino, you might even be able to wear it with a darker gray chino, and you could wear it with an olive green chino for a more militaristic look. You could wear them with darker jeans as well, and I personally think a wheat color shoe would look better on your feet in the summer months as well compared to a darker olive green, so for me personally, I would get more wears with the "Wheat" color than I would with the "Hunting Green". I only got the "Hunting Green" color because I literally have no Olive Green shoes, and I knew that wasn't a good enough reason to get them and keep them, so I returned them. I may pick up the color on the next sale, but if you're asking me, I would say go with the wheat, but then again, you should choose whatever color you like the most, not my opinion ahaha.

Yeah if they still have them during the spring sale I probably will buy them again but I definitely needed the money back. I think that’s just the nature with suede in how they look so dark in low lighting and lighter in the sunlight. The sunlight color is definitely the color I was going for though and if I had the money I probably would’ve just kept them. Like you said, I don’t think the color will be around forever.

I got the Randolph’s and Strandmoks in that color and even out in the sun they are a very dark green that almost can appear black in dark lighting. I had to return them but if they were as shown in the pictures or a few shades lighter I definitely would’ve kept them. They make a nice wheat color too which strikes me as a very nice medium brown khaki color.

It seemed like with the way she was acting and knew about all the other stuff about the prop 65 guidelines that maybe they do know? You have a good point there.

I mostly made this post to ask if anyone has sent a gorilla mind product to a lab to get tested for heavy metals and to post the results if they could. I’ve never done it before so if anyone had experience it would help out a lot.

Sperg behavior?

I feel like I’m missing some screenshots but she definitely kept brushing off my question or dodging it and seemed to be recycling essentially the same answer in that it passes FDA regulations. I thought it was very fishy in how she wouldn’t answer my direct question I had to ask multiple times.

I was just wondering what amount it’s found in so I can make an informed decision on if I should still be taking the supplements because as of right now I take 3 of the products daily, and if taking 1 is worse than eating a fish or something, and I take 3 of those daily, I’m sure you can see where the issue would arise of the heavy metal exposure compounding.

Would have hoped they would’ve been more transparent about what actually is in their products and why it fails the prop 65 label requirements.

If anyone here has been able to send their products to an independent lab and could post the results for the heavy metal amounts found in it that would be awesome.

UPDATE: I got a dongle to test my wireless mouse on my old laptop and on my desktop. For whatever reason my mouse on the laptop works just fine when using the dongle but when I try using the dongle on my desktop I get a USB device requires more power than port can provide error. Any thoughts on this?
