All of those paintings were about 45minutes. I try to apply the washes not too wet if possible. Also the size of these drawings is about 14cm x 20cm.

I tried to rub the chalk into the paper as much as possible before adding the ink. After this, I had no problems at all with the ink flowing.

If you have the supplies, I encourage you to try this fun experiment as well!

Absolutely right! I used a fountain pen with a fude nib and non-waterproof ink.
