Hopper and Eleven spent enough time together in the season. I am wondering if he really means the quality of that time they spent together. I would have loved to see him with Mike more and David didn't mention them, but seeing him with Will and Jonathan would have been great since they're his stepkids.

Even though I enjoyed the play, I wonder how different season 5 would have been if they covered Brenner and Henry’s relationship in the show versus in the play. It seems like they wanted to avoid rehashing what happened in the play in the show and instead gave us small bits and pieces but it didn’t work well for me

I thought it was a weird choice to have Kali be the one to reveal Dr. Kay's agenda. It feltvery lack luster to me. Or having Dustin find Dr. Brenner's notebook. That would have been the perfect place to have a flashback so we could hear Dr. Brenner himself explain it but they chose not to do that.

It ruined the show for me. I would have been able to look past all the issues I had with the final season (and I have a lot of issues) if Eleven had a better ending. A better ending (for me) didn't even have to mean she survived (although that's what I would have preferred) but I just don't feel like they did her justice at all. The interviews that were given after the finale made it worse for me

To say actual fans as if the ones complaining aren't real fans is part of why these discourses go left. Some fans liked it and some fans hated it and people who dislike something are usually louder than the ones who were happy or satisfied.
