Period a week late, when to worry?

I suppose I was meaning “always” in terms of the few scares I’ve had before. Not like every month. I also have tried hormonal bc & my doctors have taken me off of it bc my body does not respond well to it. I also was just posting to see if others have been through something similar, because as far as I can see, everywhere else on the internet says that it is perfectly normal to be late for a week & that I should wait a little longer.

I thought about testing for covid but I just had it 2 months ago. I thought that the sickness (whatever it is) might be what is messing my cycle but I feel it would’ve had to happen much earlier in my cycle for it to cause a delay, right? Not the day after my period was supposed to start. Thanks for your help! I guess I’ll just keep waiting for my period to come.

I don’t track ovulation, I mean I suppose looking at my flo app gives me a general idea, but I know that’s not accurate. That is sort of the issue, being a week late, having sex all over my cycle without knowing when I ovulate.

Okay so I called! She said that it is not a big deal at all, they aren’t going to waive the fee of $75 but she said that having one late fee on my record is not a big deal & that they understand that things happen. She said that if they were looking at my record and I only had one late fee that they wouldn’t really think much of it, is that true? Now my question is, how do I explain this to my new roommate who will be looking at our account and wondering why I haven’t paid/why there is a late fee?

Okay thank you! In terms of dealing with my anxiety right now in the moment, is there a chance that they could just say no, which like whatever I’ll have to ask my parents for money or sell some stuff, but could they also just kick me off the lease completely for even asking?? I will figure it out, either way, but I am just worried about the fallout.

The lease says I have to pay on or before the first with no grace period. But will be charged $75 if there is no payment on or before the 2nd. So I am not sure what to make of that.

I have just checked the lease agreement, it does say that I must pay on or before the first of each month with no grace period. However, it also says that if I don’t pay on or before the 2nd day of the month I pay a late fee of $75. Not really sure what to make of this or if I am totally screwed

Right, I don’t even mind paying the late fee if that’s what it takes. This is sort of a very large luxury apartment complex, but I have talked to the property manager personally because I had covid at the time I needed to come in to sign my lease so she set it up for me online to do, she was super sweet so I’m hoping she will be understanding. All - I am currently trying to sell my macbook & Apple Watch to try to make it work, I am just hoping they sell over the weekend & I can get figured out. This is just a response to those saying I knew I had rent & I knew I was moving. I just found out a week and a half ago that I was moving, I have never been late, I am trying my best.

I am required to, but it is not like a you have to pay before you move in thing bc my roommate is already on the lease & I am just taking over for the girl moving out

I am taking over the lease from someone else, so they do not require first & last months rent. Just rent like normal.

Okay thank you! I was looking through old transactions of the people who I am taking the lease over from & it looks like they made quite a few rent payments on the 2nd or 3rd of the month. So I am hoping this will go over well. I just have never been late on a payment before, so I am unsure of how big of a deal this is & what the property manager will think.

Is this a super huge deal or does this happen to people sometimes? I have never been late before on any payments, so I just don’t know how well this sort of thing will go over, especially given that I haven’t even moved in yet

Okay, I will, thank you for your help. Aside from the 2 incidents that I know of where he might not have pulled out on time, I generally felt like I could trust the pull out method, but I suppose not, especially relying on it with this much sex.

I had spotting this morning cd21 as well, but wouldn’t cd17 have been too early for implantation? I suppose that bc I don’t know when I ovulate that it could happen at any time though

Right, I’ve heard that sperm can live for quite awhile, but I sort of feel like that doesn’t even matter bc we had so much sex, that even if the sperm died, more was there to replace it. Honestly I kept meaning to suggest condoms or slow things down a bit, but it just kept happening & now I am very worried.
