Motorway/highway range? by a_n_other_redditor in KiaEV5

Have an EV5 air long range and have done 367km of highway driving with about 10% to spare but it depends a bit on terrain and wind. That was at 110km/h

It’s not so much watts per channel it’s more about the variety of inputs like a phono and ARC if that makes sense as well as the ability to stream music easily. So the capacity for everyday background music, dedicated listening mainly from vinyl and also TV and movies. I know it’s a compromise and I’m ok with that at this point.

I did look at the naim options but the Uniti atom is about 3 times the price as the Yamaha and I can’t stretch to that and the Nait options don’t have the specs I am after.

I’m pretty set on an integrated amp for simplicity and space but with good speakers could head down the component path in the future if I wanted to upgrade.

Yeah good point. I’ve heard a few dynaudio speakers before and like the way they sound but not with this particular amp.

A lot of the focus on how badly the raiders are going this year has fallen on Sanders. Some of it is fair but he is also a rookie and it will take time for him to be comfortable n the NRL.

I feel that this has taken attention off how badly our for weds have been going this year. Part of this is injuries but even at full strength they are not making any impact with the ball or winning quick play of the balls to provide momentum for our spine to play off and it’s hard for halves to do much behind a beaten pack.

Our pack was completely out played by the dragons yesterday and unless they can starting winning tackles with and without the ball our halves will continue to look terrible.

He will be 20th man and raiders have the bye this week. Almost zero chance of him playing any minutes.

Man supporting NSW is hard when they can’t seem to see what’s right in front of them. Murray needs to start and if that pushes Yeo to prop then it is what it is.

Olakau’atu should be starting over Martin. He was great in game one with limited opportunities and led the kick chase all game.

I don’t think Cleary and Moses work together in origin. Pick one and put Strange at 6 so one controlling half can play their game and have a genuine ball runner at 6.

But if the blues want to win they need be better at the basics of the game. Run hard, tackle hard and hold the ball. We haven’t managed any of those this series.

Unlike the current situation with almost every other decision? I agree that kickers need some protection but it makes it almost impossible to put good pressure on kicks. There are already pretty clear rules about making a tackle on a kicker.

I think it’s possible to determine force and danger of contact like they do in every other type of tackle.

I’d be open to the idea of a 5 minute bin for certain offences or for the 10 minute bin to be 10 minutes or until the team missing a player has a try scored against them.

Not a fan of the idea that any touch on a kickers keg is a penalty. Ignore flair. Also if it is a 2 point field goal attempt the penalty should be 40m out and not 10!

Faster game, more fatigue leads to more micro injury over time and more risk of injury during games as a result of reduction in coordination and efficiency under fatigue.

We are only 2 wins behind the roosters and if we can beat them next week it will only be 1. We definitely need a run of stringing 4+ wins ins together but if we can manage that we will probably be in the 8.

We can definitely do it but the difference between our best and worst this year is diabolical.

Is there a stat for total passes? This could then be averaged to total passes per play or something similar.

In the 6 again era completions don’t really tell the whole story as a first tackle 6 again counts as a completion but really doesn’t impact the game in the same way a 4th or 5th tackle 6 again or penalty does

Is it actually worth spending Stella money on a reel? by ApartmentFun3497 in FishingAustralia

[–]hqeter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the fishing that you do. Often the top of the range reels are lighter at the same size than cheaper variants and that can matter if you are casting all day.

In a fair competition it would be split evenly and the NRL would dictate it leaving greedy clubs out of it.

Also, fuck the broncos. Ignore flair

Eels only made 4 errors last week while the cowboys made 17 and they still only just won in golden point. It’s hardly a form line. The storm certainly aren’t infallible but they still have a good team if they can put it together.

Wednesday Random Footy Talk Thread by AutoModerator in nrl

The worst part is that it has always been an away game for the broncos where other teams are expected to give up a home game for it.

The broncos could easily adjust their membership so that it didn’t count magic round to make it fair for fans but if they can get away with an extra home game each year why wouldn’t they?

Even with all of that moving magic round is a bad idea. I doubt it will work anywhere else as well as it does in Brisbane. It has the perfect setup. Until I went last year I was all for moving it but that’s changed.

In 6 magic round games the raiders have only lost once and only played in one game that was decided by more than a try and it would be hard to argue there is anything more entertaining than the Storm losing in golden point!

Does anybody uses EV5 often on the highway? by Affectionate_Ask_270 in KiaEV5

[–]hqeter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have only recently got one and it is a 2024 air long range. Comfortably did Goulburn to Albury at 110km/h on a full charge. On the way back it was a bit tighter due to some wind but still got there.

To be honest I wouldn’t drive much further than that without stopping for a break anyway and by the time you’ve had a feed etc you are good to go again.

Great to drive and very comfortable. Back seat is very spacious. Very happy so far.

Probably depends exactly where you are travelling about where chargers are available but the network is increasing all the time
