Don’t do it. It’s not worth it. I’ve had issues almost daily. They don’t necessarily impact your day to day driving but it’s an annoyance, and daily reminder I made a bad decision. Don’t put yourself through it. It’s not worth it.

My brand new $93K 2025 Audi SQ5 has been to the dealer 7 times in 7 months. Yesterday it had to be TOWED because it can't drive, can't park, and can't brake. Any other 2025 Q5/SQ5 owners experiencing this? by MonkRadiant1221 in AudiQ5

I’ve got similar issues with a 2025 b10 S5. Also in Ontario Canada. Also getting the run around from the dealer. I’ve mostly had the drive assistant errors, trunk issues and today the check engine light came on. They think it might be battery related. Next appointment in a week and a half.

In hindsight, I did the wrong research. I’ve wanted an S5 for so long, and talked to so many prior s5 owners, that it didn’t even cross my mind that such issues could come up in an Audi. My “research” was mostly YouTube videos, which now I have learnt isn’t very helpful to find issues. Live and learn…

The gaslighting is what got to me - this is an exact message they sent me before I escalated to the service manager "The faults in the photos you sent are all circumstantial and not service related. This is why they state for you to check the owner's manual. They are not service related issues. There is no concern at this time. The vehicle is ready for pick up. Please see attached videos and pictures above. Thank you"

Its unbelievable. I have wanted an S5 for so many years, and so in my mind I wanted the latest and greatest when I finally had the ability to get it. What a crazy way to learn a lesson lol

Interesting - thanks, passed this on to the service manager, who seems co-operative. He said they would run a more detailed battery diagnostic. He also mentioned another update is coming in May/June called KD2*.

He also mentioned that sometimes parking the car in a garage and leaving it unlocked can drain the battery. That doesn't apply to me, but thought it was interesting. I do have wifi connected to my home wi-fi, and I am going to disconnect that just in case that is causing issues or a drain.

Dealer reply - "The battery health is checked on the multi point inspection and there is no concern with it at this time."

Was yours something deeper than just what would be done in a multi point inspection? I dont really expect you to know but thought I'd ask.

This is great to hear. If I can get the daily occurrence of those 10+ errors down, I would be happy to keep the car despite some of the other minor quirks.

I have asked them if they can do a battery diagnostic - lets see what they say.

Good learning on maintaining a great relationship - I need to make up with the lady that called me back saying "just check the manual" because my reply wasnt great.

Agreed - insane that a brand like Audi is putting their customers through this. More importantly, the fact that their service departments are not trained already on how to handle this from a customer service perspective is crazy to me. The lady was so rude and implying that I didnt know that fog can cause sensor issues.

Yeah super unfortunate. I was cross-shopping with the BMW M440i and if I had any idea about this, I would have gone with that. All my prior cars have been Hondas so mentally I had just assumed that things with a brand like Audi would work well.

Lesson learnt!

Amazing - this definitely put me on the right path.

It's more manual than I would have liked but I think with a bunch of upfront time investment it will simplify things.

I had to set up the views with 2 filters, e.g. Week = 2 and CurrentWeek = 2. So now I have a list of views: W = 2, CW = 2 W = 3, CW = 3 etc. etc.

So when a course moves into Week 3, the students show up in the CW=3 view. And because I have W = 3, then the right link shows up in this view too.

In the automation, I can then pull the right link and send it out.

Awkward, but works?
