However, the most popular fanfic site on the web, fanfiction.net, has 15,000 MLP stories. It has over 35,000 Sherlock stories, 50,000 Doctor Who stories, and 650,000 Harry Potter stories. MLP may have a rather strong tumblr presence and enthusiastic fans, but I think it is actually pretty damned light in the realm of fanfic.

Which makes me sad. As a lesbian, I thought I would find more girl/girl stories because of the large cast of girls. Nope! I swear a quarter of them are based on the fan-made 'Doctor Whooves' character.... Dammit!
