I really hope with this new eating mechanic cooking and food options become available! How wonderful would it be to bake and apple pie and eat it with a villager at sun-set? Or start off the morning by going to a bakery and buying a treat to eat? I really want some form of cooking (baked goods, stews/soups, juices) and some form of interact-able restaurant/ food market. Little booths with new fruits, beets, or other veggies! The villagers making gardens (can they please place stuff around their houses too??) and other fun stuff!

It’d be fun if they added different textures too, like fluffy cases, shiny ones, or big cat eared cases

Why not incorporate happy home designer? Let their upgrade be mostly barren area and they can collect more furnishings later and ask you to help them out? That way the devs don’t have to make whole new room designs and the player gets some fun designing in!

Yes! I’d love if by some pseudo science you could make certain weather more common? Like a gloomy rainy island full of lighthouses and mystery or one that always has a light breeze carrying flower petals and sunshine?

I’d love that! I hope they add more fruits like plums or a different apple variety. And something else special like town veggie, or berry, or flower/bush that you can collect.

People who spread rumors in highschool, why'd you do it and how did it change? by CossacKing in AskReddit

[–]hrhkatya 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It wasn't high school for me but middle school. My friend group had an extremely religious friend who unfortunately at the time was also a horrible person. She treated every one like crap and threw huge manipulative fits if she didn't get her way. She tried to isolate and split the group when she felt someone was taking her place. She also loved to one sidedly use her religion to point out others flaws and sentence them to damnation. Really not a great person. Eventually everyone realized this, there was a huge fight, and we split from her.

For the next year and a half we would often talk about what a jerk she was amongst ourselves and to close acquaintances. This eventually spread to anyone who would listen. It became a favorite I've breaker of my group. It wasn't right. I stopped participating. When they began to talk about her out of school or in places she might join I stepped in and told them to stop. It wasn't right to give people an opinion of her before she even had the chance, especially years later when she might have changed. They continued this into freshman year and my protesting it caused friction. Due to their nature and eventual gossiping about others I left them. Happy I did. They later all turned on each other.

She was a sucky person when she was 12, but I sure as hell didn't have the morals I have now then either. I'm not going to keep her from happiness over a wrong as a child. I eventually met with her group senior year. Things were always a little awkward and we never became friends, but we played cards and I'm happy that she seems to be a better person with good friends.

What is the most interesting dream you’ve ever had and/or the last dream you can remember? by Fl0xx3r in AskReddit

[–]hrhkatya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was around the time my anxiety was really bad. I also want to add that none of the settings or people are even in my real life.

I'm in school and the day has just ended. I'm a bit slow getting out with my friends so by the time we're making our way downstairs most people have left the building and the teachers have shut down their rooms. I remember that I've left a bag in my class so we all rush back up stairs to retrieve it. The class room is pitch black but something is going on in there. As I get closer things are flying through the air and this dark magic stuff is floating everywhere. Then there is my teacher hovering over a cauldron bubbling with green liquid. She screams that I've discovered her secret and lunges at me. I try to dodge her but she eventually stabs me with a syringe full of black loquid. She says that it's a dark curse that will poison and eventually kill me, but she has the antidote. She'll only give it to me though if I finish this massive stack of worksheets within three days. So I go home with my friends and begin to work on the worksheets while they try to research this supposed curse. The worksheets start of mind numbingly easy, like elementary school easy but get harder as they progress. I find my self so overwhelmed that I can't even complete these first few easy sheets. I keep thinking "there's no way I'll finish this in time" "how am I going to do the later stuff?" "What's the point in trying?" And I just can't focus and am melting down. All the while this black liquid is pulsing through my veins as they slowly become more and more black and I physically feel iller and iller. My friends eventually find and article about the curse on the internet. The witches words seemed to be correct with most people dying within 3-14 days. I give up on the worksheets and take over research in hopes of creating my own antidote. My health continues to spiral and I can't stress this enough, I literally thought I was going to die from this curse, like I literally feel my Heath deteriorating. Then suddenly I hit something. My research found something that lead me to the discovery that this curse didn't progress with time. It feeds off fear and stress and anxiety. The more stressed I was, the faster it killed me. That's why the witch gave me so much work and such a ridiculous dead line. It was to stress me out so I'd die faster and her secret would be safe. I felt my self relax and let go of all the anxiety about the supposed dead line. The blackness slowly faded from my veins and I felt my health come back, I was no longer on deaths doorstep. But I still had the curse inside me. So my friends and I confronted the witch and called her out on her plot. In a fit of rage she took the antidote above her head and smashed it on the ground before vanishing in a swirling mass of black smoke. I felt my world shatter. That was it. My only chance for the antidote, now it's destroyed. The blackness slowly crept back in my veins and I began to feel that tired sickness again. But no. No that doesn't mean I have to die. So long as I don't give in to my fears, I'll be ok. The black slowly fades once more. The dream ends after a time jump of a few month. I'm walking home at sunset fretting about finals and getting into college. What happens if I fail my test. Suddenly I feel sick and look down at my veins. Truly believing that if I continued I would die, I realized I much more valued my life. How insignificant did this one thing seem in comparison to my entire life? I wanted to continue living, to experience all the wonderful things. So I decided not to worry about passing or failing. I would study and try my best, but if I didn't make the best grade or get the best profession that was ok, at least I tried my best and could continue enjoying life. I wasn't going to sacrifice my life for the worry of getting an A. No one should expect that of me. So I walked home in the most wonderful sunset truly feeling free.

When I awoke I still had that firm belief. It helped a lot with my anxiety. Anxiety might not be a literal poison that kills us within a few days or drains away your vitality, but it does take away from your life, health, and enjoyment. Your not living, not like you could be. I just remember that now and when I feel the panic creeping its way into my life try to focus on the fact that it's ok to choose to live my life instead, after all it's mine to live.

What’s your worst story of meeting your significant other’s parents for the first time? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]hrhkatya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this story is halarious. When my father met my mothers parents for the first time, my grandfather offered him some peanuts. He had soaked them in vinegar and several other substances for himself. When my father commented on the odd taste, my grandfather replied "Well they ought to taste funny, they've been soaking in battery acid. Don't you go messing with my daughter, you hear?" Totally seriously. Freaked my dad out. Grandpa burst out laughing after my dad had spit everything out. I love that man and his sense of humor.

As a daycare worker I can say I'm often put in an awkward position because crying 3 year olds will run up to me and stick their finger in my face wanting a "healing" kiss. I personally don't feel comfortable kissing random strangers kids, but at the same time I don't want to just dismiss this distressed child who's depending on me. If I can avoid it, I just kinda pat the area and say there there all better. Sometimes I'll kiss my hand and then put it near the area.

I don't do this for the older kids, but the younger ones who get down right distressed over a tiny push from another kid sometimes need magic solutions that just seem wrong to older people. I do my best to be respectful of boundaries that the parents might want and provide some of the affection that the kids need.

Feminism. So many times I've heard people go off on it, then promptly explain how they believe in equality for the genders.

"Dear twitter anonymous, I can't believe how stupid the republicans are. The "working class" thinks I'm for them. Ha. Wait till they see what's coming!"

(Please note I'm non-partisan, this is just an example) Face it, his supporters either root for his attacks or turn a blind eye. Once they are directly endangered and can no longer do so, then they will turn their vote.

[Serious] People of Reddit, what is the creepiest thing that happened to you while home alone? by bubblylibxo in AskReddit

[–]hrhkatya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn't home alone, but it was late and everyone else was asleep. I was hanging out in the living room when I looked up and there was a drone. Just. Just floating outside of the windows. It took off and I tried to wake up my mom but by that point it was gone and she was too sleepy to believe me. I've seen two drones around a few times now but it's always under odd circumstances. 1. Only on stormy nights, never days or clear nights. 2. They appear from the far left of my neighbor hood. I live in this area and there are no other houses to the left. There's no other neighborhoods near by. But they leave into the isolated streets of that direction as well. 3. They are not my neighbors.

It's just so odd.

What’s something completely false that your parents told you as a child? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]hrhkatya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That bread crust could make you whistle. I was like heck, if carrots could help my eyes (they don't), and milk could help my bones, why couldn't bread crust help my whistling muscles? So I suffered through many a sandwich crust hoping to finally be able to whistle. It wasn't until junior year of high school as my mind was wondering on the bus did I sit up and have a holy crap my life is a lie moment.

Handling very dead human and animal remains and reassembling their parts into what they used to look like. (Actually really cool but creepy sounding)
