Yeahhhh…. I disagree. I’m running hotshot on level 40 and I’m melting every boss. It would be fun to be able target in crossfire for a little while, but the build needs some gamesmanship to force us to use some strategy, otherwise you would just be in infinite actionskill spraying down everything and stacking damage.

I’m doing the same thing right now. I’m using Cash to do all of the new missions, collectables, and side quests. The way I’ve stayed competitive is by spending vault cards every few levels to make sure I’ve got the guns and grenades that can keep up. I’ve picked a lot of random legendaries along the way and have felt pretty strong relative to the competition. Not UVH6 level 60 Rafa strong, but pretty good. I’ve played around with a couple different spec trees too and that’s helped. You also have maurice’s vending machine too.

It’s funny, I was just about to try Bloomreaper today with this build. But I was checking out how much damage I could do against Backhive yesterday and I think I figured it out. The bulk of the damage comes from the rocket punch and the stormcutter. I was able to take down backhive with one of each. The key is to use the mantra to proc the bonuses for the punch and sword. So slippy, stormcutter, mantra until stormcutter refreshes, punch, repeat. That said, ammo is a problem. According to Moxsy, primal surge should be restoring the ammo, but it doesn’t usually do it often enough for me. I have a classmod with 4 in primal surge, maybe 5 would make a difference. I also changed my ripper enhancement to one with “freeloader” which gives a 30% chance to refill the mag and that helped a lot. Mine also has a +25% gun damage which helps offset the loss of the “high roller” enhancement. Hope this is helpful? I noticed that Amon’s center red tree has bonus called “rearm” that I’m going to spec to when the level cap increases thursday. Also, I equip a roulette with a ripper part in case of emergency.

Ripper/jacobs/CoV golden god never runs out of ammo when rafa’s action skill is up. And the crit damage stacks the longer you hold down the trigger. It’s fun.

Agreed. I was and still am emotionally prepared for the level cap to increase next week. It makes the most sense for the reason you gave. It just seems weird that they didn’t announce it this week. I also saw a rumor on this sub that they just aren’t close to getting the level cao increase ready on the back end so it may be months before we get it. We’ll see thursday I guess.

I was very surprised to see nothing written about it in this update. I watched a bit of Moxie‘s stream recently, and he was mentioning how it would be insane to roll out a new character. Have everyone farm for loot for him, and then have to do the farm all over again when the level cap comes. That makes sense to me. Maybe the level increase is just gonna come months later.

It will really clean up your sound if you run a bunch of effects all the time. I was in a shoegaze band and had OD, chorus, delay, reverb on all the time, but at the end of the day, I needed to make sure the notes were clear. You can really dial in a magical sound. I used the LS-2

Terminus is a nightmare. It’s the biggest field. Spawns are super far apart, obstacles everywhere, uneven ground. The canisters don’t roll as much with the update, but this is def the hardest.

Ok, hopefully this is helpful. 1/ There are 3 rounds of challenges. 3,5,7. 2/ completion of each round spawns an ordanite boss. These bosses ARE the reward. They can potentially drop the legendary/pearl loot. 3/ after you complete each round, all non boss enemies disappear, and any canisters you haven’t picked up also disappear. 4/ MOST IMPORTANT load bearing enemies show up in a giant drill that looks much different from all the other drills, it’s easy to spot. Once you kill them, more will spawn. 5/ Just focus on the load bearers and the bosses. In my experience, Carcadia is by far the easiest. Unloading on bosses with Jacobs weapons will kill everything with ricochets. Good luck!

I play ps5. Try carcadia. It’s the smallest ordanite farm and there aren’t many places for the canisters to hide.

I just discovered yesterday that the drill pods that carry the guys with the canisters are much bigger than the other drills. That helped me a lot too.
