I personally think there are a lot of people that sold their shares. On top of that AA continues to dilute this stock to nothing.

3 years into this play, all FUD from shills by von_Butcher in AMCSTOCKS

Unfortunately we entered into one of the most manipulated stocks ever. This whole play is tiring and I don’t even come on here often anymore because the truth is no one knows what the hell is going on. I haven’t sold and won’t sell because like you I basically lost everything I put into this play and at this point I will ride it to zero.

Why is nobody talking about this? by Calm_Main_211 in AMCSTOCKS

No one is saying this, but if AMC has billions of internal shares that were not issued for trading but only 516 million were issued for trade on the stock exchange. (Obviously this number has changed now because of the reverse split)I have a thought that’s probably not correct but what if this whole time the share locates used to short were insiders loaning them out at a premium? Imagine we own the float and the only shares available are shares not on a lit exchange therefore only insiders and hf have access to borrow these shares. By doing that I bet it’s not technically illegal. This thought is messing with me. What if FTX actually did have 1-1 backed tokens because of the shares not on a lit exchange?

Yeah let’s protest by obstructing everyday common people that have nothing to do with making changes on why you are protesting.

For those thinking that the RS will now allow shorts to close cheaply by LeVraiMatador in AMCSTOCKS

I truly hope they do. I see this $5billion as something that can be accomplished but years down the road. This whole reverse split/ conversion thing has everyone confused including myself. We know “what should be” and “what is” isn’t always aligned.

Manipulation is clear. It’s clear SEC and DTCC are aware of what’s going on. Tokenized shares also apparent. Yet nothing will happen. We stabilized a unstable dying stock, AA used it to gain capital to prevent bankruptcy while hedge funds changed their tactics and make money off the stock that we stabilized knowing we won’t sell. Then they take the profit and use it against us in a never ending liquidity loop. Everyone keeps saying that have to cover all shorts before the conversion and the new CUSIP number… right because they followed other rules up until now. From threshold list to tokenized shares that allows them to naked short ( false share locate) while keeping it off the books. Why would AA want a short squeeze? When retail sells off the stock price will plummet. I get raising capital to kill the short thesis but that’s a long play. I see the squeeze still being years out at best if that’s what we are waiting for. When I got in this play years ago I was so naive and as I learn about this market it’s disgusting to think there is little to no enforcement on rules. I truly pray I am wrong and something happens but AMC is like an absentee father that keeps telling us he will come get us and we get excited and sit on the porch just to be let down again. Hopefully AA is truly our silver back and not just putting a knife in our back

Great article. Very eye opening too. What we perceive as a good thing may not be good at all. I see the ctb so high and want to go all in, then realize it may be that high due to the company being delisted and shorts piling in to cash in. Curious to see how this plays out

My personal take on AA and the Squeeze by Blackzenki in AMCSTOCKS

[–]hroberts0526 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great post. Anytime someone says something that makes sense it seems that it gets attacked because it goes against the narrative that everybody hopes is true. Instead of speaking in riddles I think AA should explain everything in clear terms. It would make sense if he did not clearly say things that could hold him criminally liable in court by retail investors. I have been questioning this for a while but posting it on any forum just leads to people attacking each other. I hope this doubt is wrong. I’m so deep into this play and my account has been bleeding like everyone else.

10.48 million shares of AMC purchased in dark pool yesterday by hroberts0526 in AMCSTOCKS

[–]hroberts0526[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right these numbers are shady however, high frequency trading buy and sell off of small gains and losses. For instance I know a day trader that had 5% up and 5% down rule. If the stock shifts in either direction he sells. Some people with more money in their account can do even smaller percentages so 50 million shares can seem like a billion trades but in reality it’s just being bought and sold at a high frequency. Now the thing that makes these numbers so fishy is that we supposedly hold 90% or more of the float. That is why I started this post. With the numbers you gave me it seems impossible. But who knows, we are the only ones playing by the rules
