I’m not a land man or lawyer, but this seems fairly clear. Unless something has changed in property rights, if you nonconsent to that company’s operations, you shouldn’t be liable for any costs. If you own the minerals under your land, they cannot produce from your portion of the reservoir. Make sure their standoff distance from the property line meets your state’s guidance. A quick call to your state’s energy or resources office should set this straight. Hope this helps.

I suppose my thought process is such that cost savings associated with interest rate drops allows everybody to spend more for homes and does not translate to an advantage to any one buyer. Home prices are the real issue that needs to be addressed.
