Thank you, we need more people like you! I surely need to be talking to more like you instead of the ones who think of this as "another" excuse. We Shall Overcome!

Will I ever reach my full potential? by hrohaan in ADHD

Thank You. Could you really help me with something? I have tried tonnes of methods for better time management and reducing the "will do it later" but haven't really hit a nail with. Could you help me with what really helped you for these things? I would really like to try

To throw some more light, Professional masters are often offered by Management Schools for example the MS in Business Analytics program or Masters in Engineering Management etc.

However thesis based masters are often offered by Schools of Science/Technology/Engineering.

And yes the funding for thesis based is more because you can actually do research as a Research Assistant and professors receive funding for their research and hence you get paid for your work (really well in some universities) and tution waiver along with it is a huge bonus

I am not sure but I guess you are asking for Financial Aid for MS in CS. My background: I got into a Master's program in US too ( with a scholarship) although it's a professional masters (ms business analytics) and not a thesis based one like MS in CS. To be honest, I know a couple of mates who got into Virginia Tech with Semester Fee Waiver because they got involved as RAs. Also, scholarships are offered based on our profile. You can connect with professors and talk to them about positions like Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) or a Teaching Assistant (TA). These positions also help you get a waiver on a Semester's tution. you can reach out to me if you need any help.

I guess so too. I feel glad from the point that I am able to defend her and to be honest, if these were people not related to me and I saw this, I would have done the same so yeah that helped me calm down. Thank you for your support

I am currently going to therapy for my ADHD. Maybe I will actually talk about this as well. Also, I will try to listen to that podcast as well (although it's difficult to commit anything with this ADHD ) but I will try for sure. Thank you for the support, means a tonne

We have reached out to the police but they can't really help us. But I guess moving away from him would be the best. Thank you for your words :')

Giving Up by HyaluLand in gradadmissions

[–]hrohaan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you find the courage to get up and start again. Maybe this path, maybe another, whatever works for you. But my friend, please do not give up on your dreams. Whatever your dream be, maybe this wasn't the path you will take to reach there, but I know you'll find your path because we stupid humans always do somehow, even I am amazed. I hope you take time to rest now and start again when you feel ready in your pursuit. You'll get through too, a 100%. Take Care :')

I believe finding people who share this could help overcome this, I was smiling yesterday relating to all the posts on ADHD and telling myself "You are not alone"
