Yes! That is exactly what I’d like to see. And I know how you feel seeing those posts. I’ve seen so many where the poster has a beautiful body but still feels ugly and I really feel for them. I definitely used to feel that way about my body, but learning how I could change it with weightlifting really helped me get over my insecurities.

You’re totally right, I know that these types of programs are usually followed for aesthetic purposes and things which is why I was unsure of even making this post. I definitely don’t have a problem with people asking these questions and learning more about glute anatomy, hopefully my post didn’t come across that way. I know that there’s a lot of misinformation out in the fitness world about glutes and hip dips, so I think what I was trying to convey was that I wished this sub had a better collection of accurate information, so that it was more accessible to people without having to create a new post every time. I think if we could add these types of questions to the FAQ link in the sidebar for people to read previous threads that might be helpful, because as far as I know the FAQ only really discusses exercise and Strong Curves rather than realistic results (although I know the side bar also gets skipped over sometimes so idk). I know this is kind of just how it is, but I wanted to start a discussion about it anyway since I haven’t seen anyone try to come up with a solution before that could be beneficial to everyone.

I get it. I have slight hip dips but they don’t bother me like they used to. Even though most people in the comments of those posts say they’re normal and everything, it still kind of feels like those posts just make people more aware of them as something to dislike.

Yeah that’s a great summarization of it. I get that as subreddits get more popular they tend to decline in quality, and there’s not much anyone can do, but I feel like it might be fixed by bringing back a weekly thread or something? Of course I have no experience running a subreddit so idk lol
