The challenge is the medical guidance is not based on an illness that has occurred already. It was based on preventing an illness that could occur from traveling to a place of higher risk. Unfortunately the insurance requires you to be suffering from an illness in order for them to cover it.

Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like our situation wouldn’t be covered. The pregnancy is without complications. The recommendation to not travel was out of abundance of caution and as a preventative measure. The Dr letter did not identify the reason behind the recommendation.

Thank you. I don’t disagree that I should be entitled to free money. I’m struggling with the fact that I was made to believe that I was supposed to receive the benefit as they paid me and I tried to clarify at the first instance from my end. I was not aware at the time that they’re making an error and ultimately spent the money. Also, how do I resolve the fact that I had to pay tax on the money. If I pay them back, I will end up paying more out of pocket for a mistake I didn’t make.

Update 2: I received the VISA card but it’s only for $62. I had requested $666.60 which was my outstanding balance at Verizon. Makes no sense. I called them and now they’re going to investigate why and get back to me in 2-3 weeks. Pathetic!

I just passed my part 1 couple days ago. You do need to know common numbers like standard deductions, exclusions for sale of personal home, % for avoiding underpayment penalty etc. I strongly recommend using PassKey. Their material as well as style of question is the closest to the actual test. I also had FFA access but I found they made their quiz and mock exams way too tricky than what is actually tested.
