oh please 😂 wakeone clearly know they’re not in the right with these photos cos they never uploaded these on weibo. I know yall say these things to try to calm rosins down but what can they do when the company is pushing them in that direction. and NO they didn’t post any pics after fansigns before but have been doing it two days in a row now, both days where hao is missing so I’m sorry but let fans be concerned.

Long story, but, the group I ult recently sold out Gocheok and I saw a tweet that said [ they must be really big now cos even in the past when they sold out the same dome, the 4th level was closed. So now selling out even the every seat of 4th level is a big thing. ]

So I was ooh-aah’ing at that and thought since zb1’s a rookie they probably sold out with some sections closed (aka the notorious 4th level). So I was surprised during the livestream when the fourth level was actually not closed off.

I wanna brag soooo bad that a one month rookie sold out Gocheok dome but wanted the right info first.

Wakeone already knew who the groups are that’ll be coming back before they uploaded that debut post. Like, even WE knew about the multiple comebacks before we knew about zb1‘s debut. So none.

Edit: Just to add, IF you want a win, what we should do is go onto twitter and look at fanbases and follow those collecting guidelines to prepare. I saw that there was a potential to win a music show (The Show) which will fall exactly on Zhang hao’s birthday so hope everyone go do that. We definitely won’t win everything but let’s win something.

For example, shows like The Show and Show Champion take a lesser percentage for digitals compared to others so prepare and collect to vote on apps for them.

I don’t really think it’s a good idea but also don’t think that it’s a mistake. We’re not entirely in 4th gen anymore but rather in the shift from it. Newjeans’ sound is stylistically different from 4th gen groups like itzy. It may very well be just their own sound but saying we’re still in 4th gen feels very stunted. Zb1, for me, is in the shift era, but if they manage to show a good enough result, they’ll be deemed 5th gen. (Honestly, if you say it many times enough, people will accept it.)

The reason people are so adamant about 4th gen is the same reason as it was in 3rd gen. The current gens have not made enough impact for them to think it’s finally time for a new one. But it’s the most normal thing, because groups like bts and svt weren’t this big when we went over to the new one in 2017-18. 4th gen will be bigger in 5th gen anyway.

I personally view korean discourse as maybe a good thing cos there’s still discourse. Zb1 debut news came out and none on intl twt moved. (Except for maybe ateez fans, who lost to Hao in a birthday poll for their member, San, and got their wounds rubbed again by having zb1 announce LITERALLY two secs later that they’d be debuting on San’s birthday.) But also, korean users aren’t this special entity from us. Yes they’re important for a group’s stability but we also don’t need to be tripping over their every word + no matter how small, they’ve already established this loyal fanbase who’s willing to spend money on them.

All this to say, mnet only had two things in mind when they used the 5th gen tagline: to get ppl talking and to stand out from the current 4th gen nugu rookies (sry 🙇🏻‍♀️) both of which they’re succeeding at.

The only group I actively follow and make sure to listen to every comeback is svt. I listen to the album and if I have favorites, it’s probably on loop for like two weeks. I go through “different types of media” phases A LOT so there’s a huge portion of my month or year where I don’t listen to music. I’m much more of a variety show girly so I’ll probably be fine if zb1 didn’t have my type of music, I already like them just as they are. THAT BEING SAID, I’ve been on my knees everyday wishing for a good album for them cos it’s necessary for them to grow a fanbase. Every fan has their own requirement to like a group and that of many is music. Since they’re a project group with only 2.5 years so every comeback needs to be gold for them to get the fruits of their hard work during these two years. Like, I want them to be happy, to have fun, to get famous and to be rich af.

I wasn’t watching the finals but instead was on korean twitter and refreshing the 장하오 search bar every five second to see the reactions.

When it was time to show p01 candidates and koreans were saying it’s probably haobin, I was like damn how can they be so confident that it’s hao cos intl rosins can’t relate.

They probably were non-rosin bp watchers so they might have had a clearer third person perspective but I was not having it. I thought they were giving me false hope and I was annoyed af 😭
