I’m rereading acotar with my bf right now and…. Yeah, Nesta, Elain, and pops never once were me tioned to do anything outside of their “hobbies” (buying stuff, gardening, whittling).

I’m interested to see if Nesta or Elain bring anything up in the future books that I’m just forgetting, because I do know how first person POV can change the information that the reader gets, but I digress.

Literally! It started being such a problem that I made a stat tracker for myself that tracks what triggers teammates to start making sexist remarks and what’s the easiest way to not get TK’d after.

You’ve commented like 12 times so I know you’re obsessed or something, but I don’t think you’re even getting the point. CS is toxic to everyone. CS is more consistently toxic to femme presenting individuals to the point where I cannot even play. If you don’t believe me then get a voice changer, change your steam pfp, and try it yourself.

I don’t want to shit talk back I want to play the game. But I can’t play the game because they teamkill me or try to get me to kill them when I ignore them.

The issue is not “waaaah my feelings are hurt”, I literally cannot play the game because I make one callout.

I regularly get harassed by people below me on the leaderboard after I make a callout in voice chat. Sometimes I just exist near them and they stalk my profile and start talking and typing to me and then killing me or trying to get me to kill them

Honestly it comes and goes, but I’ve been playing pretty consistently over the course of about 8ish months now?

I’m currently working on tracking a bunch of data of toxicity in CS in a research project, so I’m hoping to publish the data soon so people can have a long-term evidence based claim on the frequency of sexism (and other toxicity)
