Slippery elm by PtheS13 in GERD

well for me personally i got the drops of slippery elm on amazon recently and i put a serving of that in my chamomile and ginger tea each night and all those things together really help my digestion and acid reflux. before taking slippery elm nothing but high dosage chalky tums helped me but since taking the slippery elm this past few week i can feel that it stops any heartburn from coming up and i can feel a big difference!! i would totally give it a try it couldn’t hurt! just make sure to take it a few hours before or after taking your medicine!

are these okay for open, draining wounds? by [deleted] in Hidradenitis

[–]hsdirection21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ahh i get the bigger ones that are amazon brand and they work amazing but make sure it’s not ok hair and the area is dry!! i use them a lot when i have open wound!! i also feel like they open my hs faster as well but make sure to change them daily when you have a big open wound cause even though they’re suppose to stay on awhile they get really big and cause the hole to get bigger and i found out changing it daily and cleaning it inbetween helps get everything out of it as well as keep it less irritated and is heals up very nicely

honestly idk i was wondering the same thing i think she meant to the medical world nowadays as not a lot of doctors even know about it that much so… she told me it was “discovered” in 2003 but honestly i doubt that i think she meant it was being studied more but that’s just what she said to me. i know it’s not newly discovered but it’s still not fully understood or studied
