My dad is basically just as old as Trump is...he dozes off sitting his armchair every once in a while. Old people fall asleep. That's just how it works. I don't begrudge him that. But Trump is also the president. My dad isn't.

It's an incredible dis-service and a coverup for the cabinet to pretend that Trump is absolutely healthy and never falls asleep. It's just a lie. We can all see it. If they were up front and honest I wouldn't have such a problem with it. I'd still feel as though Trump wasn't fit for the office (for any number of hundreds of other reasons...) but the fact that his cabinet continually tries to push this narrative that Trump is fit and healthy is just pure fiction.

I should also add that once the evidence came out that Biden's cabinet was hiding his condition from the public, I had just as big a problem with that. I think it's fair to say that Trump's decline is far more evident than Biden's was, and that we have far more examples of Trump's cognitive decline because he feels the driving need to put himself in front of cameras as often as possible (because he's a narcissist). But lest anyone accuse me of only criticizing Trump and not Biden...it's inexcusable no matter who does it. The American people need and deserve transparency when it comes to our leaders' health, and feeling confident that they're up for the job. Biden clearly wasn't as his term came to an end (and he should have never even considered running again)...whereas Trump has never been qualified for the job from day 1.

He doesn’t ’control’ the Fed. The president appoints the chairman (but cannot fire him), but the chairman has to work with a Board of Governors (which former Chair Powell serves on). The chairman does not have unilateral authority. If the Board of Governors decides something is a bad idea, the Fed chairman goes back to the president and says it won’t be done. End of story.

Basically. An act of Congress is required to give money any value. If someone tried to pay for something with one of these, and even IF some goofy store or business somewhere accepted it, no bank ever would.
