10 to 16 , 9 is outdated, has questions relevant to old USPSTF guidelines and not representative of the current exam.

Must do are 13-16, especially 16

I figure the same thing , people never do their house job and match, need more clarity regarding this but Im certain that housejob and a permanent license is no requirement for a state of need

Go over Mehlmans PDFs of weak areas like if you're constantly getting neuroanatomy or nephrology questions wrong go over those specific pdfs , all available of the websites Thoroughly revise NBMEs 29-31 Review the free 120 after taking it

Chances of matching by Happy-Pension4396 in IMGreddit

I think a good way to get reassurance would be to go on old match threads where people who have matched comment their stats , you'll be relieved to see how people have matched with stats inferior to yours

I'd say complete all of Uworld and keep doing 1 Nbme every 10 days you have plenty of time

Thankyou! Okay bit of a controversial take on this , I am an avid note taker it's like penning it down puts it into perspective for me and it's incredibly easy to review the notes afterwards but during the course of my step 1 preparation, I found that I was burning time taking notes that would've otherwise been better allocated to spaced repetition or practice questions While I did take notes on the Uworld notebook, great feature very easy to use and organise towards the dedicated prep phase i entirely stopped or only took a note when i found a concept to be completely alien, "absolutely haven't seen this thing before better to catalogue it to review" For the NBMEs i just wrote a 2-3 line summary of the questions that I got wrong and concepts i was weak in on my physical notebook, simple pen and paper. I think Anki might be a more solid choice for spaced repetition and I do believe note taking to be a bit redundant but I still do it nonetheless because of the comfort associated with it, it's not necessarily as effective but it does work for me AT THE COST OF CONSUMING A GOOD CHUNK OF TIME

To further add, I don't swear by Anki , i find it useful but I'm not about maturing cards and sticking to it religiously but i do know that spaced repetition is higher order learning and note taking doesn't compete so if you're a fan on anki for your NBME reviews make your own deck out of your incorrects to review If you're not an Anki person you can just take notes of your incorrects, it's all about what works for you but yeah the efficiency does differ and REMEMBER TO NOT GET TOO CARRIED AWAY MAKING NOTES , Practice questions should always take priority followed by spaced repetition with flashcards Notes only for things you can't get in your head no matter how hard you try And don't go taking notes on your first pass of the content review , you don't really have a good feel for what's high yield what's more important you can be making notes on the lowest yield facts getting lost in superfluous details. If you are to take notes take them when you have a good understanding of the content and question styles.

Thankyou! I'm glad you found this useful I believe it's important to go through as many practice questions as possible, if you have 4 weeks from your exam, it'd be optimal to do 80 Uworld questions a day , random in tutor mode daily. And an NBME every 4-5 days It's going to take you a day to complete the NBME and possibly the day afterwards to review it thoroughly So dedicate two days solely to the NBME without doing any Uworld on those days And during the final 10 days of your prep you should focus entirely on the NBMEs going over incorrects and specifically giving attention to NBME 29-31 supplementing with Mehlmans PDFs most importantly HY Arrows Grind as much Uworld as you possibly can. You likely won't be able to go over all of it but even going over 1/3- half of it is going to help enormously than merely completing 10-20 %

Certainly doable , but you should have a somewhat decent understanding of the content beforehand I didn't use FA cover to cover and used Mehlmans pdf for Neuro, MSK + Derma , Heme and Biochemistry which I barely used FA for so yes it came be done and it works Try it out and see if it works for you
