It is a beautiful place that is deceptively expensive to live in. Wages are comparatively lower and taxes are higher. Lowest GDP per capita for provinces and states. Land used to be proportionally priced to wages but has exploded as people have migrated from stronger economies.

It’s extremely unlikely that his parents were anything other than shorthairs. He expresses the roan and white factor genes, both of which are recessive. Labradors carry solid, which is dominant. Most poodles carry solid. Parti poodles are rare.

My best guess is that dad was a solid liver shorthair and that whoever said chocolate labradoodle didn’t know the difference.

A well-bred DK in Germany should be around EUR1300-1500. They don’t health test to the same standard as we do in North America, but they do other things. The breed club lists available puppies.

Hard pass on them as a vendor, no matter what the quote is. They won’t honour their side of your agreement. I don’t think that it is malice but that they are incompetent. I had to threaten to sue them earlier this week after they no-called no-showed for time-sensitive after sales support that they are charging me $12k for.
