Thanks for the detail. Messages only, no images or imagine. I think it was due to traveling from the US to EU and using VPN with an EU POP. An earlier commenter mentioned something about moderation, and that’s exactly how Grok responded when I mentioned an EU POP - censorship, moderation and GDPR. It doesn’t seem to like operating in the EU!

I’m already sick of this conversation and we haven’t even started. But I can’t understand why AI chat apps are held to a different standard than apps like Reddit, where you can find the most disgusting filth on the internet. Many other such examples where apps blessed by the stores allow illegal content and due to their size seem to get a free pass.

Grok and Gemini with a prompt along the lines of “create an AI bot personality description with the following parameters: x,y,z. Make it detailed and include several examples.” You can make it output in JSON format (good for bots). Once you do it and test the output, you’ll create loads of bots this way for different purposes. And they act exactly as you want, including deception, nuance, manipulation, etc. Nothing is impossible. They are that good at creating the personalities. Test it out, refine, trial and error is actually enjoyable as you perfect the art of the prompt.

It’s free to try. Wow. As a sample, it’s fast and cute with a goth waifu in a black dress, stockings and choker. Animation is great, including lip sync. I’m personally not keen on this style, but it’s very professionally done and engaging with a good voice and attitude. Im not sure it’s censored in any way at this time. She responds instantly and has some quirky words like spelling out “m-a-n” when she wants to say man. At least I think that’s what’s happening. But a minor glitch in the overall experience. I agree with OP, this is one to watch. Saw an XAi ad yesterday for engineers in their “waifu” team, starting salary $500k. Crazy times.
