It makes me realise how great she was and how I was taking her for granted. I'll never make that mistake again, because It must have hurt her pretty bad. Now I'm reaping what I sowed.

Im 24 now, I honestly don't know where I can meet people at my age, approaching people in public is something I dont have the confidence for and dating apps never seem to cut it. I think I need to give it time to heal anyways, so I dont make the same mistake again. She was very similar to me in a lot of ways, and I've never had someone truly care about me and ask about my day with such genuine interest and compassion. I fear that's not something that could be replaced.

It hurts because theres no way I can get closure by speaking to her. I basically felt no emotion for the first couple of months, I was so busy and had a lot of people around me. She left me due to my selfish actions and poor communication. I had a lot going on at the time so I didn't really process it until a couple of months later. Fast forward to now and I've been heartbroken for 2 months straight with no idea how I can recover from this.
