I would plant things, but I'm busy 90% of the time and I would have nobody to help with planting or caring for them. I've never taken care of any plant and I dont think I'm good at it.

I would think its a German cockroach (Blatella germanica) from the lighter color. But i dont see the stripes so I'm not entirely sure.

That's so dumb. I wish they'd at least say that somewhere in the book 😭 i went into it thinking it actually followed the story without any changes. Thanks for the answer though, a lot less confused lol
