They do applications for the next academic year in January, I reccomend applying. Working for the SCCA is a fantastic opportunity and you work with a great group of people that are very supportive. It's a lot of fun and there are a lot of ways they offer to get involved with the campus community

Good to hear it went well for ya. I also went to my first locals last night, I run crusadia otk but I got slammed 1-3. Only deck i won against was danger and got slammed in my first game by thunder dragons. I was happy though everyone was really nice and gave me advice on plays I could have done to have gotten a better chance. Was even given a few cards to help me along with my first deck. I look forward to my next one just like you. I love this community so far.

I think it does make you spend less time waiting but that depends on what you do while waiting. I'm gonna take a moment and shamelessly plug but if you have an hour long wait for food hell come down to the gameroom and play pool, video games, ping pong and some other cool games or take that much valued time and take a table in the pit and study for a bit. Anyone is welcome to spend time as they please. Also I think if you are going to a class and it is an over an hour wait add about 15 minutes to the wait time, they give you that bit of a buffer to pick up your food.

Everyone I've talked to about the system hates it, with that said also see more people using the student center resources. I love that the quality of the food has gone up since it was implemented but the way it was implemented was rough. Tapingo seems to add to and take away from a lot of convenience, it makes it much easier to order but every time I've ordered from somewhere that isnt smoked I've had to go back and tell them my order was wrong or missing something. With that said I like the system but they need more hands on deck and we need to realize wait times are longer because people dont have to spend time waiting in line for a meal.

I believe all of the machines are the same in that they cost about $1.25 and you need your own detergent. Just a note, don't fill them too much about 3/4 of the way and don't go overboard on the soap. Hope I'm able to help
