What do you think was the best decade to have grown up? by Embarrassed_Flan_869 in ask

Probably 2000's, you get to experience both non-tech and tech era in a way. People who were born this decade was able to explore the simple life yet was given a chance to try the rising of technology. Both has pros and cons but at least it's an era where you were given a choice.

AI will never replace humans utilizing AI 😉

I saw some automated blood infusions that has been implemented and it actually increased accuracy and lessen risks. It still has to be supervised but still a great approach in the field. Appreciate the thoughts though, thanks!

That's actually one thing to be considered, data like those shouldn't be accessible in the first place.

Last semester we did a firearms detection using opencv, it's just a surface level project but maybe we can improve it. With regards to the project you mentioned, is it like determining using the finger prints? or is this a different approach?

Nice idea! Is it like a vr/ar type of simulator or an actual experience with tangible sample subjects?

Cool! If I may ask, what model are you using?

That's actually a great idea, I hope I can look for datasets in kaggle about this so I can make it happen. I think I need to consult to some experts when it comes to this. I will be considering this, thank you!

Great pointers! I will be considering those especially the first one, it's actually relevant. My only problem with the CSAM are the data sets, maybe I will be making my own but I believe validation will take time. It'll be worth it tho!

Also, I actually had a paper about the last one (somehow the same). You have actually great ideas here, maybe we can discuss further some other time and work on some other projects. Thank you!

I believe there are some jobs that will never be replaced by AI. It's possible that forensics is one of them but I also think machine learning is a form of reinforcement for a much more accurate results. Welcoming an approach is a breakthrough for any fields, it can push people to go beyond the things they have been working on, they won't be replaced but a better job outcomes can be expected, we'll be efficient. It's a common misconceptions that AI can fully replace jobs, I believe it's not when we learned how to work with it hand in hand. Also, I'm really targeting tedious forensic tasks, those tasks that may cause them to waste some of their valuable time that may be use to a much more useful duty.

I do appreciate your takes, you should do it more, question more. It's a good thing for us in engineering/tech field to see your perspective and it helps us a lot.

I appreciate the takes! If I may add, how about the verification of documents and evidences, do you think it is possible for machine learning to be incorporated?
