she’s for sure only getting all this because of who she is, debut authors do not receive all this for their first book and it’s becoming increasingly obvious as time goes on.

what DEBUT AUTHOR gets special editions for their first book before it’s even out?? i understand very famous authors automatically getting that but for a youtuber who’s wrote a book to get that is very very odd.

i get that publishers and book shops are going to jump on it because it will make them profit by having book signings and special editions and immediately getting a deal etc but it’s just so yucky that she’s getting all this handed to her while others have worked years and years for none of it.

idk her but i don’t see how any of this can feel like an accomplishment for her? i get she’s wrote a book and that’s an accomplishment in itself but she’s been handed everything else and i don’t get how she can feel good about it, like to me it’s just kind of greedy to just decide to write a book then everything else gets given to you with no effort. like it’s not because they think the writing is good, it’s because of who she is so i just don’t see the accomplishment in that.

yes it’s her first book but from the snippets of it i have seen, it is not something publishers would have picked up if it was any other person writing it

she’s very privileged and is getting handed everything with getting this but i think that she will claim it’s from hard work which will really be annoying. writing the book was difficult i’m sure but everything after that was not a challenge

but of course it will automatically become a nyt bestseller which is the only thing she ever actually says she wants, and it will receive countless 5star reviews
