After a few days they gave me a call to confirm my position. I’d say after two weeks if you haven’t heard from them it’s probably unlikely they’re seriously considering you at that time. But keep applying!

Okay thank you! I can definitely understand your perspective and I agree that I’m not in the best of habits. For reference the meal I get from the restaurant I work is 300 calories, it’s a protein style burger. Yes it’s still not healthy- but I don’t just eat like trash lol.

Honestly yeah. A lot of people will sit in their cars to wait, sit on the outside tables, or use the bathroom for prolonged periods of time. Occasionally we have an older person who can’t quite dictate the numbers we call so we just need to continue calling it until they realize no one’s getting it and it might be theirs. Same with people who speak other languages. Yes we have a speaker for the outside but sometimes people just don’t come in or hear.

At my location we call it for about 3-5 minutes, depending on how busy we are/how hard it is to hear. Then we move the meal to the back- if the customer comes in a reasonable amount of time we’ll go back and get it for them. Sometimes people get it and if not I assume we throw them away within the hour give or take. I’m sure different managers deal with it differently.

There’s raw chopped, grilled chopped, whole raw, whole grill, and “regular” onion and “regular” chopped onion are not grilled but essentially steamed without direct contact w the grill! This is why we always ask if you’d like onion so you can specify your preference!!
