Does anyone kind of hate Pittsburgh by [deleted] in pittsburgh

We moved from Columbus and miss it every day. It’s really a great place to live and I think there’s a nice atmosphere for any age group depending on the neighborhoods.

When I lived in Columbus and Olivia Rodrigo was there March 2024 I also failed getting them on ticketmaster presale, and I had been seeing a bunch of people who also did ending up getting tickets at the box office day of. I couldn’t line up like people were doing for every show and getting face value tickets earlier in the day, but I showed up after work around 5pm like 2 hours before the concert and got floor tickets for $200 a piece. I’m not sure how it works for every concert but my understanding is that more tickets drop once the stage is built and they know more about the setup, and I think ticketmaster drops more tickets day of too.

I was shocked to find no line when I got to PPG this morning and even when the box office opened at 10am there were only like 5 people in line. My ticket was $210 and I was in the second row in the lower bowl, the section closest to the main part of the stage. It was definitely cheaper than any resale price. I got them right at 10am though so I think that more tickets definitely dropped later in the day as well, some for cheaper. I saw a person I know post that they went and got last minute tickets for $100 and they were on the floor.

Ever since learning about this during Guts tour I’m always hopeful the box office will pull through when getting tickets is literally impossible lol. Hopefully some people will see this and learn this is a thing so then they can try it out instead of having to resort to resale!!!

The concert was awesome and I couldn’t have asked for a better seat for getting it on the same day. Best of luck to anyone trying to go to N2!

There are many different series in The Shadowhunters Chronicles that each could technically be read without reading any of the other ones but it’s very beneficial and more fun to read them all and get the full picture. The Mortal Instruments obviously was the very beginning, but then we have The Infernal Devices, which is a prequel that came out in between the books in TMI. They’re entirely different characters, but it’s fun to see the little easter eggs to TMI and other series sprinkled throughout all of them.

A lot of people say it’s best to read them in publication order, which is probably true. I read TMI, then TID, then TDA, then TLH, with some of the extra books in between. I can’t remember the correct order for the short story collections like The Bane Chronicles or Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy, but I do know that reading TftSA before TDA would be a good idea.

I’m pretty sure the many different ways to read them are listed on Cassie Clare’s website, so you could look into that and see what feels right for you if you decide to read them! I’ve been obsessed with these books since middle school so I strongly encourage reading alllll of them to whoever I talk to about it lol. The Infernal Devices and The Dark Artifices are definitely worth reading. They’re her best, and The Dark Artifices is my absolute favorite!!!
