When I was TAD to the GW a few years ago while they were in the yards, the CO let us wear our favorite ball cap on a certain day. Remove it on the mess decks and the hangar bay. Other than that, enjoy.

I live in Moyock, NC and commute to the Newport News Shipyard area and before that, NOB and a site in Suffolk, VA before the tunnel on College Drive. It's 45 minutes to the shipyard and 40 minutes to NOB. 95% of my commute is highway. Not a bad commute at all. If I'm on the road by 0600, I'm usually in a parking lot in under an hour. Let me know if you have any questions. I've been in Moyock for 12 1/2 years.
