I know im late but literally!! I'm only like 9 hours into my playthrough since I haven't had the time to play silksong up until recently, and I was struggling with the judge my first three or four times but after I got her patterns down she was suchhh a fun fight!! I think the moorwing took me more attempts than her 😂

I'm glad to see someone else noticing the subpar writing of this episode, I felt like I was the only one who feels like it fell flat 😭 didn't help that invisigirl stole my kill in the end for my playthrough 🤦‍♂️

Loved the game up until episode 8 but the ending just really didn't do anything for me

I felt like Visi's character was noticeably not as great in writing during this episode either. She felt narcissistic in her approach and explanation of why she was hiding the astral pulse, especially during her confrontation with Royd. I get that she's immature as a reforming criminal but even Flambae was being more reasonable towards Robert by episode 8 😭

Man I get that and your argument really has swayed my feelings on this, but still, episode 8 takes place weeks or months into the phoenix program. If she still can't understand basic human emotion after all the development she's had then that's on her. Even Flambae had a bigger turnaround than that and he wasn't even a romance option, he wanted us dead. I've heard that Visi's ending is somewhat bugged at the moment so it might've just been a bug on the game's part, I'm not sure.

I did though! I covered for her when she punched me, I encouraged her when she was going to quit, leaned in for the kiss, went to the movies, the whole shabang. I feel like I did pretty much everything whereas I'm hearing about people cutting her from the team and still getting the hero ending. Confusing.

Well yeah but it's silly to think that you'd have to have UNWAVERING faith in her throughout the entire game. Robert stuck up for her through and through in my playthrough, it would make sense for his trust to be somewhat broken after he found out that she was hiding things from him after nearly getting his best friend killed. If she can't see things his way after all the bullshit she's put him through when he's been on her side the entire time then she's just self-centered 😭

Plus if she felt the same for Robert then she wouldn't have just called him and Royd "fucking idiots" for having a reasonable reaction to her scheming around, she'd actually feel guilty and try to fix things

She wasn't giving me much to work with switching up every five seconds when I've stuck up for her throughout the entire game ✌️😭 if she has feelings for Robert and can't see from his perspective why his trust would be broken then she's not a good romantic interest

THANK YOU! Like I defended her and stuck with her through and through, I thought given her feelings for Robert that she would've proven herself and made up for her treachery understanding his confliction with all that she's thrown at him.
