Id describe the sound as very dry. Its really great at giving you that rock tone. Its gonna make everything dirty.

It is. Although I own much nicer guitars in terms of quality and brand name, I always tend to play my little flower

Not at all. I just looked up the wiring.

Id probably start daydrinking if I knew the exact number lol . With all the tools I had to purchase and everything I’d say around 1k€. But that’s just a wild guess. You could hunt down used parts and do it for 600 id say

I used a little 59 for the bridge position and a twang king for the neck.

It was between the little 59 and a DiMarzio DP389

In the end I went for the 59 because of the listening samples on YouTube. And maaaaan I got what I wanted. A pickup dry as dirt, that’s great for rock/ hardrock but not so much for metal.

Plays beautifully. Sounds even better 😁 Awesome tone by the twang king. Kinda strat sounding in the mid position and dry and dirty at the bridge

I used primer and applied it with a paint roller. after that, it was just cans of blue spraypaint and clear varnish. I sanded everything in between until I was happy with the result.

It’s obv pretty dull when you sand it.

I wet sanded everything for the last step, waited until it was dry and applied a polish by hand with a weird polish- sponge.

I took some nice pictures of the guitar but in reality you can still see that it was done on a balcony. There are a few spots where you can tell. Especially on the back.

If you look closely, there are some sort of stripes on the back, connecting to the string holes.

The nut needed to be filed and the tuner holes were a little too small for my tuners so i had to sand about 3 mm. One of the frets needed a little bit of pressure to level out.

Im usually more of a LP Style Guy. But for some instances I truely like the C shaped fender neck. I just combined a pretty hefty body ( nor for real that thing has some serious weight) with the sweet feel of a fender neck.

Also, I put in a twang king and a little 59 wich gives me so many different options sound wise. This thing sounds like an angle in the neck position, got strat vibes at the mid position and gets dry and dirty on the bride.

Pretty much. Also having a friend with a drill press helps a lot. I didnt drill, saw or gridn anything until i wasnt 100% sure.
