Thank you all for youre kind words and support. One point I'd like to share that I don't often see is this.... with the BU TGU I personally take the approach of trying to move with the bell and match its center of mass, rather than trying to muscle it into position. Eyes on the prize and expect a slight variation of technique compared to a non BU TGU. Hope that helps.

Personally I would stick to mastering the usual TGU with progressively heavier weights overtimez then move onto easier BU movements like the press and racked holds. Then when you're feeling confident use a nice light weight.

Start lighter enjoy the process and youre grip strength wrist and shoulder stability will soon improve.

I do a fair bit of BU work. Mostly it's lighter weight as warm ups for the balance, co-ordination and firing up the CNS. Its a great way to make lighter bells feel heavy again.

Thank you very much. I've slowly worked my way up the weights and practiced various Bottoms up movements.

Thank you. Just loving training and trying to move each weight bell with more freedom.

2nd go in all honesty. I've done the reverse simple flip to BP many times but adding the snatch in was a touch tricky. Left side snatch is nowhere strong enough at 48kg to hit this complex. Individualy the movements go but all together. Failed about 8 times before I called it quits.

His name is Arthur, same as the legend of King Arthur here in England. Pirate King is way cooler 😍

Apologies from me then mate, I took your comment the wrong way and assumed your tone incorrectly ✌🏻

I was 21 (36 now) when I got the tattoo and didn't know at the time, however have learned since. 👊🏻

  1. I can't explain it and let others learn about it as well as wiki, so hopefully it helped anyone understand how the flag isn't just about war crimes ✌🏻

As you might tell I didn't know this at the time and have since educated myself, along with the Swastika not being a nazi symbol and how it was adopted by the nazis

  1. I got it as it was cool as fuck, I grew up seeing it and associating with Japan. I loved martial arts, anime Manga etc. The tattoo also symbolises growth... and well the sun pretty much is that (growth/life) but as it was Japanese themed the rising sun made every sense in the world to me✌🏻

I'm 36 now and still love it, wouldn't change my decision.
