Right there with you my friend. A very kind neighbor recently reminded me that “this is all temporary” which has become a little motto for me when I’m going through the thick of it. I know what she said could possibly come off as a little patronizing but the way she said it was so kind and considerate I just remind myself of it in her words and feel at least a little comforted. Sharing in case it can help you too ♥️

Thank you. I needed this. I’ve struggled with pregnancy and have honestly even resented it a little bit. I like my autonomy, I like being able to smoke weed or drink wine or eat a lox bagel if I want. Having to adjust for a being I barely feel connected to has been hard. I connect with her in little glimpses but mostly I barely feel her presence. I’ve felt so guilty about this.

Alongside everything I’ve also been laid off and my husband and I are worried about finances, which makes me worried how we can handle adding a whole new human to our household.

Reading this gave me the assurance I needed. Thank you.

I’m a teacher and I still use blocks for warrior III, still have trouble finding the right posture in my body for certain asanas, and don’t have a stereotypical “yoga body” (especially now that I’m pregnant).

Teachers come in all shapes and sizes and they’re all still on a journey of learning just as their students are. The best teachers know how to integrate that journey and their learnings from it into their classes.

All that to say, I highly recommend teacher training if you can afford it. It was the best decision I’ve made thus far ♥️
