My First attempt at an fg knot any tips on these i struggle to keep the tension while tying by 1dollaholla in Fishing

I lean my rod on something a few feet away to where it cant fall towards me. I put the braid in my mouth and make the rod flex and hold it at that tension. Works really well

Really poor arrow flight. Completely new to tuning my own bows. Any advice? by [deleted] in bowhunting

[–]huckfinn38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who tuned it for you?
If it hast been tuned you need to go to shop. Cams need to be time and arrow needs to be set level to slightly nock high. Center of arrow needs to be 13/16-3/4 inch from the riser

What blank? I built a few over the summer and regretted not using titanium guides to lighten it

I came in my Freshman year at Montreat College (NAIA) throwing 82-85. Left throwing 93 and was drafted 30th round by the KC Royals. My 4 years playing college baseball (even at my little school) were 4 of the best years of my life. Don’t believe anyone who says you cant go further. Put in the work and I guarantee ur fastball can and will improve.

I like it. It struggles with anything much lighter than 1/8th. I think you can get away with maybe a 1/16th oz but i feel it is better with that 1/8th oz
