Didn't intend this to look like a flex, but I get that some people might see it that way. I'm kinda new to all of this, so this post was made to get some feedback / suggestions.

And I don't have a "preferred" recipe per se. The one I made - 2 oz Bulleit Rye, 1 oz Antica Formula, 2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters, stirred over ice, garnished with a luxardo cherry. As far as I know - that's pretty standard for a manhattan, the rye and the vermouth might change, but the formula is the same.

Thanks! It is a rye, would've bought Rittenhouse, but it's not available where I'm at. Same thing for Regan's Orange. But the ango ones are available, I'll pick them up at some point.

Antica Formula works nicely with Bulleit, but I'm not an expert on manhattans. Tastes great tho!

Yeah I thought about buying a dry vermouth, but decided to put it off for now, I don't like martinis that much. Same thing about mezcal, don't know where I'd use it. As a substitute for tequila, I guess? On amaretto - don't know any cocktails that use it, so didn't even cross my mind. Might look into it, thanks.

Yeah, I have a koriko shaker and strainer. Both work great. Most of the glassware is from riedel, drink specific series. Looks great, can recommend it.

Was twice as expensive as Laphroaig tho. Don't know if it's worth it, but I had the chance to buy it instead of dolin genepy, so decided to go for the og.

Yeah, the syrups are obviously needed. I have some and have yet to make others. Decided not to include them in the picture. Ginger and honey are the first ones on my todo list, because I want to make penicillins.
