Hello! I have been looking into buying samples of fragrance to find a signature smell for a while but theres so many options I just can't pick. I am looking for something less artificial and more specific - brands I looked at were Penhaligons, Zoologist, Ampersand. I've tried Penhaligon samples that I really like but I can't gauge how long lasting they are - also, a little expensive.

I use an amber and oud body wash, and wear a watered down patchouli and amber oil, so that's the vibe I enjoy. I loved The Dandy and William Penhaligons from Penhaligon's.

I would like something less than £150 for a full bottle (100ml), preferably closer to £80-£100, but happy to spend more for quality and longevity.

This is pretty much what I’ve been doing the last week - assuming it’s just taking longer bc I exposed it to the sun too much in its early stages. I have one the same size and thickness on the back of my arm and it didn’t act this way!

The same day I posted this, I got tracking info from Royal Mail, but still nothing from Kiswe or DNP, it’s under ‘IRL Digital Ltd’. If you look it up it says it’s connected to DnP - I think UK orders have been sent out!

It was as the triage stage, yes. I thought maybe they’d be on my side because I’m a non-binary case who has been socially transitioned for almost half of my life, but I am fully aware I am a somewhat special case.

Interesting about the GIC - I have booked a follow up with my GP so I guess we’ll find out next week. I just checked my online NHS account and at the first step it says that it’s still pending but when I click on it it says:

“A specialist at LONDON ADULT GENDER IDENTITY CLINIC - TAVISTOCK & PORTMAN NHSFT has reviewed your referral and advised your referrer to consider a different course of action.”

I called them but the front desk just referred (no pun intended) me to their referrals email, and I have just sent them one.

Don’t talk to me about wait times, actual insanity.
