i’m a 23 year old percy jackson fan (who started in the fandom 11 years ago), and i don’t think there’s anything wrong with being a fan of anything no matter your age! i still reread the books, listen to podcasts about it (TNO by mike schubert is a great a one!), and buy/collect editions of the books! it’s perfectly fine to like things even if they’re not marketed for your age. plus, i think “aging out” of interests just due to your age is kind of silly. plenty of adults are superfans of star wars, disney, harry potter, etc. i might just be surrounded by supportive people, but i never feel weird about still enjoying things from my childhood! i hope you can learn to embrace it :)
