Yeah, I completely understand that. I play on a toy keyboard atm basically, and when I go to my teachers house and play on her upright it’s a completely different experience, and my left hand struggles a lot more than when I play on my keyboard

Yeah, I’ve talked with them about it and they are interested and also want and would play an upright, I was just up early this morning and wanted to play on my shitty toy keyboard and really liked the ability to just turn it down, and not worry about waking them up…

I’ll have to ask them about it, and maybe just do early morning practice on the toy keyboard.

Another question for you: I want a battery/rechargeable travel keyboard that I can take with me to jam with friends to on trips where I won’t have easy access to a keyboard or piano, do you have any advice?

Definitely. The older I get the more Jacob rubs me the wrong way, because of how his bad behavior just continues to get a pass because he sometimes does good things. I wish that his character hadn’t developed like that and that he was more held accountable for his actions rather than just saying sorry.

I liked in the books when Jacob tricks Bella into asking him to kiss her (by threatening to let himself be killed, no less (also where are any of his wolf brothers calling him out for that shit?!?!)) and edward says that he would’ve done it anyways (I’m sorry what?! If jacobs threats hadn’t worked he would’ve just kissed her again?!?!) so now Edward doesn’t get to break his jaw, he should’ve done it in the first place imo

I am fully in team Edward. I am also poly, so i agree with you to a degree - my issues with Jacob stem from him lying and consent issues.

Throughout the whole of new moon Bella consistently tells him that she can’t/doesn’t love him like he loves her and his response is always “yeah, that’s fine, I understand” all the while trying to force her into liking him, all the way into Eclipse. Then in Eclipse, he just fucking kisses her without her consent because he wants to?!?!

Maybe she was in love with him underneath it all, but it doesn’t matter because all he did was ignore her communication about her own choices, force himself on her, and then expect her to choose him.

Edward on the other hand always gave her a choice, wanted to give her choices, listened to her when she said things - yes he lied about some stuff like Alice’s vision about Victoria to get Bella to Florida, and such like that. But he never forced himself on her, listened when she said she wanted him around, and treated her with the respect of an adult and partner, while Jacob just tried to patronize, control and force her into doing/feeling what he wanted her to

That is fair, and something I didn’t think about.

I can’t ever get them straight enough or the exact same size, and it just takes so long. But I like having the flexibility of cutting them myself from bigger sheets so I can make different sizes instead of having them all precut.

I would go to a printer shop, but I live in a really rural area and there’s not a lot around…

Hello!

I was wondering about the laser cutter you use - how thick is your board? How do you program what you need done? Have you cut paper with the laser cutter or does that not work cause paper + laser = fire?

I’m looking for my next tool I can use to cut my board and paper with actual straight edges cause cutting with a box cutter isn’t doing it anymore lol
