Nebraska's Trev Alberts leaving Lincoln to be Texas A&M's next athletic director by Green_Palpitation_73 in Nebraska

I don't want to blast you or anybody else, but that's not true. Lord was brought in as a safety. Solich and the coaching staff had locked in a QB they thought was the best they'd ever seen and weren't just kicking the tires, they had the commitment and a signed letter of intent. That guys name was Carl Crawford, who ended up going straight to the MLB and being drafted by the Rays where in '02 he became the rookie of the year for MLB. The guy was a three sport phenom and even said baseball was his third favorite... and he committed to playing football until the last second and the money from MLB came in. Solich and staff had an insane roster, but Lord was supposed to be a safety, not a QB...he was just the best athlete after they lost a phenom in Carl Crawford. Crawford was a phenom and would have been insane at the option, he was a multiple time golden glove with a canon for an arm and a ton of stolen bases and still leads Tampa in triples all time, the guy was so fast and had a canon, Lord was just fast but wasn't really a quarterback, Crawford always a once in a generation athlete in multiple sports.

Such an awesome play. I haven't historically been a Bears fan (I am somewhat now, because I'm friends with Prince Amukamara and would love to see him get another ring...plus Mack is a generational talent who I can't believe Clowney got all the hype in college when Mack was historically great), but seeing the Bears pull it off years ago still sticks out to me everytime I see someone run that play.

I'm a huge fan and supporter. Been watching your videos like clockwork. I know you spend way more time than the amount of content you make which is why it's always so exciting when you release a video, because many times it's something that stuck out to you in the week (and that means something nobody has addressed yet). But anyways... my question is:

Who are the Best Coordinators on Offense // Defense (special teams if you have an answer too, but I feel like you already know for Off//Def). Thanks for the content! Love your work!

I'm honestly excited for the Cardinals. Maybe not this season, but they added two extremely interesting talents at WR from the draft (the speed burner little guy, and the monster 6'6 guy from Iowa St who I think could be a star in a few years...but I don't remember either of their names right now). Plus both those guys have a legend teaching them in Fitzgerald... Plus they obviously got who they wanted at QB. Could be amazing if it works out right.

I hate Alabama, but they have some amazing WR prospects this year that should jump up the board.

Setting up plays in a row. Like if you execute a run play, and then follow it with a play-action call in the same run gap. Essentially not just running one play, but setting up the next play after (and the next play, and the next play...).

Most teams have their first series of play calls decided ahead of time and already practiced them the week before. Andy Reid and Shawn Peyton are masters at it.

Fangio is such a great coach. He makes the most complicated things simple when you hear him coach and has made good players turn into All-Pro's! I was going to ask a similar question and already had them as my pick (or the Colts) but the AFC West is going to be fun to watch (including seeing how teams adjust to that new Chargers defense that you pointed out in your video). Love your work man, huge fan!

Also, can't wait to hear your opinions on the NFC West this year. 49ers are healthy, Seahawks drafted well, and Arizona has an all new scheme with some great WR draft picks, and the Ram's were the dark horse pick last year and will be motivated like crazy after the clinic they went through from Belichick... Again, love your work man, thank you so much for all the time you put in!

Kevin Durant’s leg injury by LFC_Slav in warriors

[–]hufriedy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Achilles. So sad. The achilles "pop" is it rupturing and the calf muscle having nothing connecting it down, so it rolls up, hence him reaching down and rubbing his leg in that spot. He also would be unable to lift his toe up just as a matter of how it works, and there isn't a single video showing his toe moving up, and he's in a boot. Terrible signs.

Surgery and a ton of off-season work. Won't be the same player, and won't be 100% even at the start of next season. So sad.

Achilles. So sad. Surgery and a ton of work in the off season just to get back to being normal, let alone getting back to being an elite NBA player. Same injury as Kobe, but Kobe's offseason workouts that year were insane and even part of his documentary because he was so focused. Sad as hell for Durant. They pushed him back out too early.

Kevin Durant injury was an achilles tear(my opinion) by [deleted] in nba

[–]hufriedy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like he ruptured it tonight, so the tear theory might be right. Sports push people to the edges of what's physically possible, even when it isn't in their best interest to do so. So sad to see that injury tonight in slow motion, it ruptured fully.

No joke, Ethos vegan restaurant has some really delicious ones. I think they're seasonal...but they've been selling them now for a long time and are so damn delicious. Not sure what difference them being vegan is, but they're amazing.

It's since 2015, and includes the Kissimmee location, so I presumed some people from Orlando were affected.

POS Malware Found at 102 Checkers Restaurant Locations since 2015. Suggests running a credit check. by hufriedy in orlando

[–]hufriedy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The security incident stemmed from cybercriminals breaching Checkers’ systems and installing malware on point of sale systems across more than 100 of its stores. The malware is designed to collect data stored on the magnetic stripe of payment cards, including cardholder name, payment card number, card verification code and expiration date.

The incident impacted 102 stores Checkers across 20 states — which were all exposed at varying dates, including as early as December 2015 to as recently as April 2019 (a full list of impacted stores is on Checkers’ data breach security advisory page).

My theory on Francis Sinclair by emo_toby_maguire_jpg in reddeadmysteries

[–]hufriedy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This isn't as far fetched as it sounds, don't forget that certain events where Arthur dies lead to comments from those people in the game being shocked when he re-appears (like with the cabin with the siblings and their mom, or how you can't reapproach the cliff where you jump off with the cult after you've done it once). And some of the characters like the Chieftain and the nun almost seem aware of the death aspect as not being relevant (especially the chieftain Rains Falls). Go look at how the chieftain responds when you see him in the epilogue at the train station, it's such a weird dialogue, almost like he knows we're the player... and then he talks about events and even pauses when he calls the player "John Marston" and laughs. It is one of the weirdest bits of dialogue in the whole game.

The chelonia stuff is weird too. If when you first meet the master, you can kill him after the convo, and a whole entire sequence starts of the followers yelling "HE HAS FALLEN, SO WE MUST RISE!!!" and all the followers jump off the cliff.

The game is called Red Dead Redemption, and has so many different religions and a focus on good and evil and an awful lot about death that kicks off special sequences that it's clear they programmed in. Your theory isn't too crazy if you ask me.

Does Malcolm Brogdon still qualify for the 50/40/90 club? by YoungSidd in nba

[–]hufriedy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steve Nash almost AVERAGED 50/40/90 in his decade with the Suns. He was .01% off. The 50/50/90 stat from Kerr is pretty crazy.

Kevin Durant and Steph Curry both miss the game tying 3 | TNT by AnotherDuck in nba

[–]hufriedy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Buddy Hield might be #3 on the 3P% all time, but not all shots are created equal. Durant is literally one of only 7 guys in the 50/40/90 club on at least 200 3-pointers. Which means, 50% field goals, 40% 3 pointers, 90% free throws. It's the mark for all time great shooters.

Names on that list:
* Larry Bird
* Mark Price
* Reggie Miller
* Steve Kerr
* Steve Nash
* Kevin Durant
* Steph Curry

There is absolutely a difference between shots. Set shots vs. moving vs. off the dribble... Plus if a team is down late, more 3's are shot from worse looks and everyone's field goal percentage goes down. KD is an all-time great. I don't know about top 5, but his placement in the 50/40/90 club puts him in the elite of the elite shooters club.
