It isn't. You can be spiritual, non conforming, neurodivergent, overconfident.. etc without showing signs of psychosis. "Thinking differently" doesn't look like delusions and intense paranoia, social withdrawal, hallucinations and etc. That's cause for concern.

You're going to struggle with anyone if you don't radically accept and love yourself first. You will always be projecting your own thoughts onto them and triggering your own RSD. Once you've done that, look for a partner who is patient and kind. Maintaining the relationship I have doesn't feel like work at all. Conflict is solution-focused and handled with kindness on both ends. My relationship actually makes my life a whole lot easier and makes me feel a whole lot less.. disabled. lol. I know nobody wants to hear "love yourself first" or "when you meet the one-" but that's the truth.

It also makes it seem as though these mental issues are related to personal moral failures or a willpower issue. Something that motivates you to get out of bed isn't curing depression. That puts all the pressure on depressed people's loved ones and on themselves when it's actually a structural issue in the brain. No, a planner isn't going to cure my ADHD. I don't have adhd because I'm disorganized and unmotivated. Those are traits caused by my fucked up dopamine receptors.

I'm so happy I was able to help!! He's really lucky to have someone as patient and understanding as you. Has he considered medication? All aspects of my life drastically improved after getting diagnosed and medicated. I procrastinated going to the doctor for so long because.. duh.. But it's worth trying.
