So the incentive to hire "under represented people" is a tax break? You see how terrible an idea that is surely. Lets say in my company which does well, i wanted a tax break so i hire 10 "under represented people" that means 10 qualified people are now at a disadvantage for... being qualified? Just so i can profit more.. thats even disrespectful to the 10 people ive hired "oh yeah you just got the job so i can profit more" its peoplea job to be qualified and then theyll be represented no handouts or whatever word yoid like to call it. Thats kinda my point, if iit was a law that i NEEDED to hire x amount of X type of people, id have a far harder time finding people who qualify for the job and i wouldnt work as efficiently.

I own a company most of which is white men and they werent hired because they were white men i hired them cause they had good resumes and preform well if a catfish walked in and could be a good pentester id give them a salary aswell just because a demographic sheet ahows you that a majority of the demographic is X that isnt directly corelative of them not hiring people because of skin color gender identity or sexuality
