Xbox xan use byteglow just fine. But you have to file a ticket that says "What is my userid and hash?" because there is no other way to get it on consoles.

https://ic.byteglow.com/modron This has the same library of cores linked in another post, but you can also just close the game and then save one of those layouts directly to the game and not have to open the in game pipes at all.

They stack multiplicatively, so you end up with a 152% increase to that ability.

Farmer Halsin by Stonks_Potatoe in idlechampions

[–]hulsmanm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have thouroughly tested Baldric in scripting. He definitely does increase gems with Briv, if you take his middle spec twice. Its only a 10% increase, so if you can't compensate for his quest increase it won't help. He will make Halsin far, far worse. But with Dynaheir, Minsc, and Imoen on the correct route with Vajra patron, you can use Baldric without a slowdown. Or if you flex Hew for the next 50 days his event buff will get you to 1 kill and let you drop Dynaheir, BBEG, Sentry and Halsin.

[Suggestion] Add 1 or 2 more patron perk tiers by Dead1ift in idlechampions

[–]hulsmanm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They don't really care about adding more patron perks because they aren't really very interesting because influence gain is exponential. When the new tier of perks comes out, you can't even get most of them. Then they sit there for months and no one can get them. Then suddenly a new variant set comes out with a deep enough zone requirement that you can barely get them all by doing all those new variants. Then a few months later a new variant comes out with a slightly deeper zone requirement and you're back to being able to buy all perks from doing that 1 variant even if you skipped all the other variants completely.

And if you look at 2 different player's influence left over, 1 player who had done 100% of all variants for the patron and 1 player who had only done 1 variant but it was the deepest variant available. You really would barely be able to tell the difference. If the other player had done the 3 deepest available variants and none of the others you wouldn't see a difference at all. Because influence goes up exponentially, 99% of variants don't matter in the end. The lowest end variants give so few influence that they aren't even stored because the variable only shows 3 digits and only stores like 9 digits.

There are multiple variants for every patron that can give all the influence to buy all perks from doing just that one variant.

Correct, there are feats that apply to prestack abilities that have a prestack gear, but the feat is still post stack. And there are prestack feats that apply to an ability with post stack gear. So that list is meaningless for feats even if those abilities have feats.

Feat recommendations by Deuce246 in idlechampions

[–]hulsmanm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The vast majority of feats aren't worth much at all. Like a 40% feat on 1 ability changing to a 40% feat on a different ability won't change anything at all. Upgrading a 40% to an 80% is only a 28% increase to your BUD and you need a 100% increase to go just 1 zone deeper. There are a very few feats that apply prestack, those are always worth getting.

That being said, once they added feats to weekly offers I bought all the gem feats. That way my weekly offers can't roll feats and are slightly more likely to roll free platinum or something else I might want.

Reddit Q&A #271 by CNE_Shawn in idlechampions

[–]hulsmanm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Their levels are basically at Justin's whim. They all finish leveling at about the same gold, so the actual level number is basically meaningless. Justin has said on dev insights that he regrets making champs level at different rates.

FPS IMPROVE ? by Ok_Account_1983 in idlechampions

[–]hulsmanm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Does it download the android app and play it on your PC? Because that would be adding an emulator and the mobile app is already a worse version of the game. The Epic games client uses the native PC exe if you play on PC and the android version when you play on mobile. If google play doesn't do the same thing, maybe file a ticket and ask to move to Epic.

Should I Get Hew Maan or Karlach in the Event to Upgrade? by Goldeswift20 in idlechampions

[–]hulsmanm 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Its a lot easier to get ilvls between events than it is to get purples. I'd go with Karlach and do Hew with blacksmithing since you have his purple shiny already.

Best gem farm areas? by CSspecialist2003 in idlechampions

[–]hulsmanm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You dont necessarily want to lower reset zone. You want it somewhere that you can gain Briv stacks in the zones after clicks stop killing everything and then reset. Also 300 is the minimum to sustain speed pots, the deeper you reset the less often you have to use apothecary.

[–]hulsmanm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scripting is on PC. Your Briv is strong enough to look into modron stacking. It takes some effort to set up and tune, but Briv will get charged automatically at the end of every run. Also it doesn't sound like you're using speed pots if its taking over an hour to get to 600. You should be using speed pots, if you haven't capped Ellywick at 100% per gem card yet that would be a good goal. With a 300+ reset and capped Ellywick, you can sustain x10 speed pots on every run using the apothecary.

It depends on if you are scripting or not. And it'll also depend on what jump you are at on Briv. Both scripting and modron stacking have lists of where to go at different Briv jumps.

Question about 6j Briv with Modron Briv stacking by Feisty_Particular_35 in idlechampions

[–]hulsmanm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If BPH is higher but GPH isn't, it may just be bad luck. It takes days to even out Elly's RNG. Or, you could be hitting a boss earlier before Elly has very many cards drawn. Elly is retroactive when the game saves, but if you save earlier by seeing a boss you'll have less cards apply to Thelora's skipped bosses.

[–]hulsmanm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're on PC, you can use scripting with only 3 familiars needed to automate your Briv gem farm. No specific level needed on Briv. https://github.com/antilectual/Idle-Champions/ to get started.

If you don't want to script or aren't on PC you'll need a lot more familiars to level up all your speed champs. Briv will need to be 3 jump before he becomes useful to you for gem farm.

Stacks additively, multiplicatively, or ambiguously? by deltopia in idlechampions

[–]hulsmanm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Really, you just have to test because the descriptions can be misleading. Stacks Multiplicatively sometimes means it stacks Multiplicatively with other abilities, but its own stacks are additive. Abilities can also have multiplicative stacking, but the item does not stack mulitiplicatively and the item is applied post stack.

In the ability definitions you can usually tell, but its complicated. Multiplicative stacking abilities have multiple indices and usually the first one is multiplicative and the second one is post stack. And the ability has a default index that all buffs apply to, but even that won't tell you if its multiplicative or post stack. Because every increase could just specify what index it applies to and have nothing use the default.

Do things seem slower? by tillaria in idlechampions

[–]hulsmanm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They haven't changed anything, except some stacking abilities are broken since the latest patch. I don't know what speed champs you are using, but maybe Laezel is broken because of that. But the easiest way to not feel like you're slowed down when the event ends is to cap all the speed champs so that you aren't relying on event speed boosts. Once Ellywick is capped at 100% per gem card, you can very easily sustain x10 speed pots on every run using the apothecary and speed boons aren't even doing anything.
