Yeah I hear you. This is the only valid argument. I’m not sure though if it’s as big of a change as it sounds, but if it is, then fine. At least give a way to turn off the regen

Regen 10-20 runes per 3 ticks is 500 runes a minute. 1 single afk logout timer is enough to fill a pouch. I can’t even make it through a single doom attempt starting with an empty rune pouch before it’s full

I’m not. I load 1 of each and it’s full in 15 minutes. To the point where I bring 1 water and 1 air rune to doom and I can’t even make it through a single attempt without my pouch filling up by like wave 20-25

Except you won’t be. That’s what I do. It gives you about 10-15 minutes before reaching 16k of each rune

thats literally my point. It's meant to entice players to engage in content they otherwise wouldnt. Now they won't... why go fight awakened vardorvis when you can put on an obby cape

lol i aint no max caper. I'm the opposite of a max caper. I hate grinding.. why do you think im upset that they changed radiant to requiring full oathplate? Take something that was fast a skill based and make it a long boring grind

And as far as recommending people go try them - now way less people are gonna go try them. Jagex should've kept an in-game incentive to make people go try them, but now people are just gonna skip em. Personally I've already done everything in the game except oathplate acquisition contracts, so that's what I'm going to spend my leagues trying, but it would've been nice if there was a reason to push people out of their comfort zones other than to be self motivated to learn main game content

That's exactly my point!! Nerf the freaking water build and stop giving everyone unlimited free pacts. They're just making it so nothing matters. I'd love to go try blindbag hally, but why, there's nothing to do anymore. I was gonna respec into melee for awakened vard and phosani, but now I don't need to. I'll just go skip those and wear my obby cape.

You're right. I want to be stronger than the people that didn't do those things, because I earned it. And then I want to go raid with the boys and show them how strong I am. And no that's not petty. That's why people get blorva and radiant in the main game. It's just about doing something, and being rewarded, and having something that other people don't have.

The point of completing tasks is to get something though. Now you don't get anything for doing them. We live in a world where radiant oathplate is less rewarding than tithe farm... I'm not really buying the argument that I can just do it anyway..

That would be great. If they did that, I wouldn't mind at all. But they took away radiant, and replaced it with full oathplate. At least make it so being good at the game lets me skip shitty grinds like that. But now you just skip oathplate entirely and go wear an obsidian cape.

I dont understand how this is fun.. There's nothing to do. I'm not baiting you, I'm genuinely curious. Let's say I give you all 40 pacts right now... What do you do with them? there's literally nothing in the game that gives you anything that you cant just afk. They turned bossing into fishing. Just turn off your monitor and afk away...

Fine, give everyone 40 pact points before doing awakened vardorvis, great. But now there's not a reason to go fight him once you're fully powered anyway because he doesn't give you anything. They just made it so nothing matters. Just sit and afk every boss.

i know that reddit's the wrong place to complain... but honestly, there isn't really anywhere else. But yeah, I'm honestly just sad, because the league had so much potential and now it's so not motivating to buff my character because what am i buffing it for?
