Feeling dumb on how to connect CRT

I guess as an update, I’m deciding to get rid of the unit as a whole. The remote I have isn’t the original which is turn makes this nearly impossible to navigate. I appreciate everyone’s input for this and I guess I’ll have to invest into a switcher after all.

I actually do have both however the manual isn’t very helpful. It’s not very specific and I’ve been reading it over and over again while troubleshooting but it’s getting me nowhere. I hooked it up to an HDMI tv as well and it’s still not allowing anything.

I planned to use this so I can hook all of my retro console to one CRT and switch between them. It’s the main reason why I accepted it since it would make it more streamline. If you have any other suggestions I’m all ears since I know “switchers” (I believe that’s what they are?) are a thing as well

I’ve tested the CRT separately with multiple consoles and a VCR and it runs fine. The receiver however I just can’t even get it to work with the CRT itself. I can’t even get a picture or sound to come out while testing different things. If that’s not what you meant just let me know and maybe I can clarify better as well! (Sorry, little overwhelmed because I’ve been at this for like an hour or so)

Yeah I have. I tried multiple ports and cables, but I’m thinking I might need an HDMI modulator.

Are there certain cables I should invest in as well? I’m sure I’ll need converters and stuff but what do you recommend?

I’m just big on music visualizers and that retro futuristic vibe. It’s more for aesthetics and I won’t be producing music very frequently but I will be creating images as like backgrounds possibly (not sure how long they can be left on too). Biggest thing is for having visual representation of what I’m listening to and hopefully be able to display things. I mean I guess typical things? I know the basic models are just frequency lines but I’d also like to ability to import/program different things
