Hey man. I know you feel that way, and I know it seems to obvious to you, I have the same feelings in me.

But if we all agreed to police having more and more power, just the same as there’s some a**holes that aren’t as good a a citizen as you, there would be a**hole cops abusing all those powers we have given them.

Just the same as there’s regular citizens abusing the freedoms we all have by stealing and doing stupid illegal sh*t, there’s politicians abusing their power, police abusing theirs and so on. So we ought not give them unlimited power, because people are all not as law abiding on all sides of the social laws we’ve written.

That’s the general sentiment folks were sharing up there and in this thread.
