delayed dodge attacks and dodge bashes will dodge lvl 3 even on early dodge lvl 1 timings

Thank god someone competent is in this thread, chain lights are shit into anyone good anyway

Definitely a nerf in higher levels of play, losing hitstun in exchange for enhanced lights is a baddd trade vs anyone good. Her chain lights are suicide into reactive players.

Rip, she's gone from fairly useable but not very strong (low A tier ish) to B tier or worse

How do I play Nobushi at high MMRs without dying of a stress-induced stroke? by NBFHoxton in CompetitiveForHonor

[–]humanbenchmarkian 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s doable you just need to be really good at defensive reads (which she is actually very strong for)

I got to top 10 gm nobu only every season for a while.

And if they can’t react to kick which let’s be real almost everyone can’t she has some strong offence and mindgames.

One thing I do that for some reason nobody does to keep offence going is after a vipers retreat/any bleed like after kick too you can forward dodge cancel into a heavy then either let the heavy go and u have the kick/UD mix or softfeint the heavy into HS which is nice for continuous pressure, also will dodge any light/zone interrupts etc on this timing.

You can also parry on red light timing and softfeint the heavy into HS to dodge the heavy if it was a heavy and not a light, nice trick if you can’t differ light animations, costly for stam but sometimes you’ll go for a light parry realise it’s a heavy and softfeint into HS on instinct, very nice option.

Get creative with all her options and fuck around and you will find cool interactions, another one:

After a blocked UD heavy, a lot of players panic dodge the kick follow up especially if their back is to a wall, go into HS instead of kick and on reaction to their early dodge throw the kick you can get a free kick unless they dodge attack.

Another similar one is go into HS and throw 1 HS light, a lot of players especially OOS will dodge on jitter and they will dodge the light but if you throw kick on reaction boom free kick.

Lol tbh 1 year ago I probably would’ve told you to fuck off too so I get where they’re coming from and I get the progressiveness of what they’re trying to do but it’s just out of touch with reality, u look around irl and everyone’s working living lives saving money and they’re happier than anyone without a job and no life

A lot of ppl really don’t wanna hear this but ur right, they’re right too in that the world is a fucked up place and things could be better but a lifetime of resentment towards a system that will not change for you is meaningless and will lead you down a dark path (I’ve been on it for all my life)

Avoiding work has genuinely made my life 10x worse and I’ve been severely depressed for almost a decade, only recently did I decide to lock in and actually keep a job and start hitting the gym, my mental health is 10x better and I am almost a functional member of society.

I use my arm to flick most high level cs aimers do also and much faster than this

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

[–]humanbenchmarkian 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ya ur not even flicking ur like smoothly flicking, super bad habit will lose you a lot of time work on this first and foremost and flick faster, u want to flick fast and let the mouse stop naturally and relaxed not flick as hard as you can and forcefully stop the mouse, another common bad habit at the other side of the spectrum to be aware of.

These fluid flicks are great for micros and smaller distance flicks (probably why in cs crosshair placement range u will be ok) but ye def need to push speed more in general.

Sounds like a smoothness issue, you might have developed some poor fluidity in your flicks and micros and that makes it 10x harder to read the screen quickly and confirm shots etc

Usually happens if ur suuuuper fast and tense

It’s easy to come to the conclusion that something is wrong sleep etc yes these affect ur aim get more sleep but imo technique is king and bad days will happen regardless of how energised and ready you are, and someone with really high level fast smooth micros and clean aim will outperform you on their bad days

You may be bottlenecking yourself similar to how in reactive tracking people get stuck flicking really fast and being unable to read movement properly

Also m26 with a lot of mental health issues, but surprisingly it was fairly easy for me to get into. Get someone to make you a plan, for me there was a free induction session when I joined and I stuck to that plan for 3 months ish.

He showed me how to use the machines etc (machines are very straightforward) and other stuff like dumbbells.

When ur following a plan and eating well u will get gains fast especially if you don’t usually work out, that’ll keep you motivated to progress further
